My parents will tell you (unfortunately based on multiple instances in which I have wrecked my car) that Herb's Paint and Body right on 75 heading north from Belt Line to Arapaho is great! And if you need a laugh I'm sure Mark Bowlin will gladly tell you stories about each instance.

Gary Miars' shop on Spring Valley & Coit. My husband & I know Gary personally (he goes to our church:Watermark) and his guys always do a good job & charge fair prices. I'm not positive that he does body repair (our cars haven't needed it) but he does do timing belt replacements and brake work & stuff like that. Plus, I feel like most car places talk down to me because I'm a woman & I don't know much about cars, but all the guys at Gary Miars' place take the time to explain to me what the problem is, and how they can fix it, before just telling I need something replaced & handing me a bill.

I had a very good experience with Herb's on the E side of 75, Richardson. My husband had a reasonable experience with Service King on the W side of 75, Richardson, just N or Spring Valley. He loved being able to walk home after leaving the car there.
