I would recommend Roberts Pool Service. I've worked with many pool companies and they are one of the few who do quality work at a fair price. Call Sterling at 972-345-2511. This is not the kind of work you want done by someone who does it on the side.

The new one in Plano is called The Tile Shop at Central and Parker. I was in there last weekend. They have some interesting material, like polished quartz tile, and the prices are competitive. Floor and decor is OK. They have some niche products that you can't find other places, but you have to watch the cashiers as they are mistake prone.

Donna we used Rick Curiel of Prestige Hardwood Floors to refinish ours prior to our move, and then again to patch the floors after we removed a wall. He was a referral from my wife's aunt, and then we referred him to my father-in-law to lay new floors at a house he was selling. Excellent workmanship and price, IMO. We are doing our ourselves, Crystalyn. We are quite happy with the guy Richard Williams & Associates uses and if it is a simple job Mile Gurley, one of his contractors, often has the guys direct bill and does not add any overhead. Might be worth investigation as well. One of his guys is doing our cement for us as a direct bill project.
