Does Clarkston count as Rochester area? Because mine is really awesome. He is very attentive, careful, and intelligent. His office staff is great. He caught something going on in my eyes that was very obscure, would've caused me blindness if left unchecked and was realistic with me about treatment of it, which included no more contacts for the rest of my life. Making me sad, I turned to corrective eye surgery, and although I had that done in Bloomfield Hills, he partners with the doctors there, and I saw him for most of my follow-up care. Now, all three of my boys (Greg being the third) are doing Ortho-K with him...for the boys, they were easy-peasy cases, and with Greg it's been really challenging, so I've seen the doctor respond to different levels of difficulty there, and we're just really happy with him. AT this link, you can see Andrew's eye under "myopia control". His case is so textbook, he's become the poster child, LOL http://mypremiereyecare.com/orthokeratology-corneal-molding-myopia-control/

My son sees Dr. Falconner from Millman and Derr in Rochester Hills. They might just take kids with medical eye conditions rather than just optometry needs. Dr. Falconner is great and has seen my son for ten years, since he was two.
