Heather from Rochester Hills asks:
Can anyone recommend a good pediatric ophthalmologist with a wide range of glasses to choose from for children in the area? My 7 year...
Stephanie L. replied:
We just got home from an appointment with Dr Roarty at Children's Eyecare. He's amazing! I STRONGLY recommend seeing him! We also dealt with Rothberg (sp?)and Baker at the practice. Baker was very highly recommended as well but is retiring this summer. So we will continue with Roarty.

My son also sees Dr. Rao at Children's Eye Care in West Bloomfield. We've been happy with his care.

Our pediatrictian recommended Dr. Rao at Children's Eye Care -- we go to the Clinton Twp. Office

I love Weisman Optometry in downtown Rochester. I bring my daughter there too, and they are very good with her.
Carolyn R. replied:
Dr. Bora is fantastic at children's eye too!
Andrea M. replied:
We go to Children's Eye Care in West Bloomfield and see Dr. Rau.
Angi S. replied:
Dr. Rao. He works out of Children's Hospital but also has an office in Clinton Township in the Stilson Center. I think he has a thrid office in the Bloomfield Hills area, but not sure any more. My son had his skull reconstructed as a baby, has a tear duct issue, and has to be watched closely. Dr. Rao came highly recommended and I have to say I am very glad we switched doctors and went to him.

Dr. Dixon at La'Optique corner of Tienken and Rochester is really great. Definitely worth a try to stay local!
