I got my hair done a few months ago in San Jose, by Jordy working under RAW studios (headed by Niki Nguyen - her instagram is [@theniksters](https://www.instagram.com/theniksters)). I'm so glad to recommend them because my hair was bleached considerably but I don't feel like it's fragile or brittle. They are all REALLY great with lightening dark hair by a ridiculous amount -- particularly experienced with Asian hair (I'm Asian with classic Asian "level 3" hair). They did my hair "[peachy keen](https://www.reddit.com/r/FancyFollicles/comments/57yf1v/finally_took_the_plunge_asian_black_peachy_keen_%E1%97%9C/)" which eventually faded out to a pretty [blonde](http://imgur.com/Lr08XWn). If you check out Niki's instagram, she's done a ton of silver colors.

Marcia, I recommend Jubilee Stanton -- she is working now at Hair Candy on Tuesdays and Thursday. All around talented hair person including color, although I admit I have not personally pushed the boundaries that much.
