A few years back we stayed at Marriott Residence Inn in Mesa. Only a nightly rate but if you stay 30 days, then the taxes are not added in. A little spendy but very nice and some free meals, too.

Also try Candlewood Suites or Country Inn & Suites. Both are very nice and have weekly rates.

Grand Hotel on Baseline west of I 10, fun hotel with water park which includes lazy river (very relaxing just laying back and cruising down the river).

San Clemente is the best beach however I think u either have to go bit north or south for the skis

On a strict budget I say Mission Beach in San Diego, .... La jolla area is pricey. Newport is pricey, and Huntington has shark alerts right now.

the day you go look at hoteltonight, it gives your discounted rates for hotels that aren't booked. We went to Laguna Beach in January and got a beach front hotel for $125 a night. Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach are all good ones in Orange County. MIssion Beach is a good one in the San Diego area. Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach are good ones in LA.

Venice Beach is all about marijuana....

Use airbnb.com to book a beach house. There are some great ones in Mission Beach. We paid less than we would have for a hotel. Simply amazing to wake up every morning on the beach. ;)

"Boric acid will work much faster than Borax to kill the roaches, but some people don't feel comfortable using it or would rather use Borax because they already have it from making homemade laundry detergent." I had a terrible roach problem in NY. The exterminator made no dent. I put Boric Acid on the floor along every wall and in less than a week I had no roaches.

Roaches will come up through the sewer. They come in through the shower drains and sink drains. Pour bleach down each drain and keep the plugs in the sinks closed. Contact Johnson Utilities and let them know about the roaches in the sewer lines. They will treat the main sewage lines.

This might be the craziest response but... years ago I worked in a pet store and had a kind lady suffering from a similar situation. I sold her two Tokay Geckos and problem was solved. Check them out, They are nocturnal so she never saw them and they did what they needed to do without harmful chemicals she was so afraid of. Also definitely plug all drains.

DO NOT DO THIS BUT HERES SOME COMEDY You should go to bug and weed mart or Home Depot and buy all the chemicals you can. If they don't work buy them all again. Hook them up to the end of your hose and spray every surface you can in the kitchen and all over the house. Then use the bug bombs. 1 is recommended per room so 10 per room should be sufficient to kill everything in your house and the neighborhood. Maybe you charge the neighbors for electricity because you will probably be glowing at night. THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION BUT MIRRORS SOME ALREADY MADE. People. These are hazardous chemicals...LIKE KILL YOU OR MAKE YOU EXTREMELY SICK. Please use caution and read the entire label before using any chemicals. Pest professionals have to take tests and be licensed to handle these chemicals so putting chemicals all over your house is the opposite of what you should do. Google experts are not pest professionals so please use caution.

Coronado Bay also does them every year in San Diego. I would look in Chula Vista or imperial beach for a hotel and drive there, it's not far. Coronado island is like trying to stay in Scottsdale lol
