http://animalcareclinicsandiego.com/ best vet ever. Been going about 21 years now. They truly care about your animals and never upsell or pill push. If you go tell them amber and fred recommended you
Lynn B. replied:
Animal Medical Center on Broadway..... They take walk-ins and emergencies.
Al E. replied:
I like Care and Comfort on Chase. Normally take walk ins or you can drop off your pet as well.
I know it's been discussed but I'm a little frantic at the moment. I need to get my dog to a vet or an eye specialist asap and I have no funds. I was fired from my job...
Julie W. replied:
My three cats all got eye infections and I treated them with Terramycin from KW Cages in Santee. My sister found out that KW Cages stocks it when she had to get it for her cavys. It's a topical ointment. It's $15.99, you can walk in and buy it. https://www.kwcages.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=terramycin

Hi everyone, we are looking for a veterinarian to take our dogs to here in Santee. Any recommendations??
Deborah Z. replied:
Dr Hilton at Cuyamaca animal hospital on Cuyamaca just south of mission gorge. Actually, had good experiences with all vets there.
Santee R. replied:
I love Dr. MARTIN and vets.
Heather A. replied:
It was a technician and a receptionist. Like I said I'm sure they are better than that, it was just frustrating and that was my personal experience with em. We got lucky and found the owner the old fashion way. I want to give them another try some day but so far I am happy with Dr. Flores at Lakeside Vet
Sydney C. replied:
Definitely Cuyamaca. The owner, Dr. Martin wrote a letter to the city council in favor of a pet store ban in Santee. She is incredible and knows all about the pet store/puppy mill problem!
Kathy B. replied:
I use El Cajon Veterinarian Hospital, Dr. Benavidas is fantastic. I know it's in El Cajon but well worth the drive for optimal care. My dog is a child to me, so I want the same quality of Vet care that I would want for my child. The bad thing is they do not take appointments, first come, first serve unless there is an emergency or surgery scheduled. There is 6 Vets there and they are all great. I would NOT recommend Mast Blvd Veterinarian, their unprofessional care caused my previous dog's life.
Laurie A. replied:
We take our dog to Dr. Lori Martin in Santee and board our dog at the Animal Medical Center on Broadway in El Cajon.
Gladys S. replied:
We really like Mast Blvd Hospital. Dr. Deep and Singh are really caring.
Linda W. replied:
I've taken my dogs to Cuyamaca Animal Hospital for years. They are the best!!!:)
Charlotte M. replied:
Cuyamaca Pet Hospital -- THE BEST!! The doctors are great and the Staff are super!!!
Tammy B. replied:
Cuyamaca Animal Hospital and Woodside Animal Hospital are both great places to take your dogs.
Susan S. replied:
Cuyamaca Animal Hospital
Ellen W. replied:
I agree. Ask for Dr. Lori Martin- she's the best!
Heather A. replied:
Cuyamaca couldn't even figure out how to get the owner information from a microchip in a lost dog I found. Even though it was there. Left me fairly disappointed though I'm sure they are normally better than that considering all the good reviews. I recently moved down here and found that Dr. Flores in Lakeside is good. Lakeside Animal Hospital I believe they're called.

Dr. Flores at lakeside veterinary hospital. You can tell him I sent you. I used to work for him and still take my dog in for dentals and exams when he needs it.
Linda W. replied:
I've been taking my dogs to Cuyamaca Animal Hospital for about 10 years. I love the vets and the staff!!! And all my dogs enjoy going there!!:)
Corey W. replied:
El Cajon vet hospital on north Johnson. Been going there since 1970's.
Does anyone know of a vet office open on Sunday that isn't an emergency vet? I need to refill a prescription and my vet office isn't open on Sundays. It's for her heart...
Kim E. replied:
I think Cuyamaca Vet might be open...can you get the RX at costco or walmart?
