Please recommend 2018 reception/wedding venue rentals? I am looking for a hall or some indoor area to have a wedding reception in September 2018, any...

I got married at the Forestry Farm last August. They have an indoor hall that can seat up to 185. We got married outdoors in their wedding garden under a huge tree—it was perfect. *Bonus points:* * The hall has a full kitchen * It also has a full bar area built in, with refrigerators & sink * You're allowed to bring your own liquor in * Lots of parking * **Best part: the venue is only $1,300 all in**.

I went to a wedding at the albert community center. Was quite nice. I actually liked the fact it sort of had a park outside you could walk through to take a break from the music and what not.

My brother got married at [the Glen at Crossmount](http://theglenatcrossmount.ca/). Apparently it was pretty reasonable when he scheduled, though the pricing has gone up since then.

Might get *more* ideas if you had a budget. What's too expensive for one person isn't necessarily for another. I assume based on the kitchen being a plus you want to be able to arrange your own catering.

I don't know their current pricing but my wife and I got married at Boffins in UofS and it was perfect for us. Very easy to decorate because the space is so nice on it's own. Nice big windows and a gorgeous outdoor area for pictures and stuff too. You could have the wedding indoor or outdoor. They do food and liquor. Food was amazing.

I held my wedding reception at the forestry farm, that worked our really well for us. I can't remember what we paid, my wife took care of that side of things. I've been to a couple of events at the Albert Community Centre, a wedding and an Xmas party, both were very nice.

Albert Rex is really nice, I suggest it to lots of people because in the evening it's just so much more romantic than a multipurpose hall. If you had less people I would suggest village guitar. Good luck and congratulations!

It doesn't have any windows, but the Western Development Museum has a ballroom with a full catering kitchen.

I'm having mine at LB Distillery, although a bit over your budget, we paid $800. We get it from 530 pm - 2 am, they set up and take down including clean up, commercial kitchen, supply all booze and bartenders, full stereo and mic, there's an upstairs lounge for the wedding party, lots of parking, it's actually beautiful inside, no liquor license required, you're not required to serve food due to their tavern license, and I think I'm forgetting other details. 120 people though... So I don't know if that will cut it for you or not?

I went to a wedding at Marquis hall at the university. Sounded tacky, it was anything but, they did a very nice job, beautiful windows.

The 2 nd floor auditorium at Albert is a little nicer but I think it only holds 100 or so. Have you looked at either of the Legion halls?

Sharing what I find, this has a good list of halls to look into. http://www.theweddingandparty.com/saskatoon-hall-rentals.htm

We got married at the Albert Community Center and it was fantastic. Got the whole weekend for about $900. You have to arrange your own bartender and food, which we liked. We were married in July and were a little worried about the heat but the air conditioning worked great. Good luck!

Anyone know where you can get windows “dipped” instead of tinted so the mounties cant give you a ticket? PFA
Jerry H. replied:
Saskatchewan Tint Laws Windshield: No tint allowed. Front side windows: No tint allowed. Back side windows: Any darkness can be used. Rear window: Any darkness can be used. In Saskatchewan you are not permitted to install any aftermarket window tint on the windshield nor on front side windows. There are no window tinting restrictions and any level of darkness can be used on back side windows and rear window. Other Saskatchewan tint laws: Reflective tint: Forbidden. Side mirrors: Always required on non-vintage vehicles. Medical exemptions: None. Certificate requirements: None. Tint sticker requirements: None. Penalty for violating Saskatchewan vehicle equipment regulations results in a $115 – $150 fine. Source.
