I'm looking for a good auto accident/ personal injury lawyer in the Seattle area. If anyone has had positive or negative experiences in this area I'd appreciate...

or search here: https://www.mywsba.org/LawyerDirectory You can set up a free half hour consultation with any attorney (and if they don't, don't use them). You want to look for how well they listen to you, how well you vibe with them, and how organized their office looks. You will want to ask how a normal case like yours will go. You will want to bring pictures of the accident, pictures of the street, police reports, ALL AND EVERY SINGLE LITTLE BIT OF YOUR RECENT MEDICAL HISTORY, including some medical history from before the accident, documentation about the car from the mechanic, and losses you have incurred because of the accident (like lost pay from not being able to work, etc.) Organize it in a binder or two by these catagories: Police report, Photographs, Auto, Medical, Other. Put the most recent dated document on the top, and if you have gone to several doctors, put subcatagories with tabs for each medical provider under the medical section. The goal is to see how excited they get about your case, and to see if they will treat you like a person, and not a dollar sign.

I'm so sorry, Andrea. I would call Ken Selander at Selander O'Brien Attorneys PLLC right here in Columbia City. Dealing with insurance companies is one of his specialties. He's also a local native and was voted Best Attorney in South Seattle last year. Not to mention an all-around nice guy. Best of luck.
