Mark Dougherty, owner of Mark’s East Side, 1405 E Wisconsin Ave, Appleton, was named 2010 Restaurateur of the Year by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. It is the industry’s top honor given to only one restaurant operator each year. Mark has gone “above and beyond” to serve delicious GF food to celiacs. The employees, from the chefs’ staff to the serving staff, have been well trained in handling food for celiacs to avoid cross contamination. Congratulations, Mark, and thank you from the celiac community!
