I'd use avvo.com or lawyers.com to search for an attorney. You can search by zip code, legal field (probate), and key term (will). You can see reviews and ratings and how long they've practiced. For less money you'll want a small firm or a solo practitioner (for something like this you don't need anything more) and perhaps a younger attorney.

/u/anonstep1983, before you decide on an attorney you need to decide what kind of divorce you want for you and your children. I say it like that for a reason.
I am 40+ with three children and just divorced my spouse of almost 25 years in 2013. There is no template for divorce but if you hire a bulldog you are going to put her in the same position and what does that do for the kids? It makes them the strategic point of battle in an ugly spit match. In my case our priority was as painless as possible event for the children. And honestly saving $$$ on lawyer costs. We agreed to work out the terms at night after the kids were asleep for two weeks and we both chewed on our lower lips until they bled while we (mostly) civilly worked through the details.
Was it easy? Hell no. Do I have regrets? Of course. Will your divorce be like mine? Or anyone elses? NO. But my point is that there are a dozen ways that a divorce can go and as painful as it is you need to decide what is really important to you. Sometimes it's not what you want to admit.
EDIT: I mention $$$ because the one thing I'm very confident telling you (not just from my divorce but from what I've read in general as well) that your financial position will change significantly. Your tax situation changes. Your income/expenses change. Everything financially changes and you will have to deal with that on day one of your divorce whether you like it or not.
PLEASE feel free to PM me if you want to discuss more and get an open, objective opinion. Heck, lunch is on me if you want to meet and talk under more private conditions.

Heather Fann, Candi Peoples, Tommy Davis or T. Shane Smith. They'll all do a great job for you. Go consult with one or all of them & see who is the best fit. Www.alabar.org has a "member search" in the top right hand corner you can use to get all their info.

I used Denise Pomeroy for the civil parts. Now if she presses false criminal charges in Marshall county, I got you a name for that too. Good luck.

THE most important thing regardless of attorney - tell them to go for the throat. I've had numerous divorced men with kids tell me they thought they could trust their emotions, but we're screwed because of them in the end. You're already behind the 8 ball because your kids didn't physically come out of you.
