I work for Dr James Wasielewski. We're not a "pediatric" office, but we are family dentistry and we see kids as early as 1-2 years old! We take all kinds of insurance and have some decent self pay pricing. Our office number is 352-686-7688. He takes his time and actually likes kids.
ISO a good pediatric dentist where parents are allowed in the rooms for ALL procedures.. Only interested in recommendations if you actually use them yourselves.. Thanks!!

A friend of mine who is an RN recently took her daughter to "The Gentle Dentist" on 19 near I-Hop. She raved about them and said her daughter had a very positive experience there (as did mom) ... she was surprised that they encouraged her to stay in the room with her daughter while the dentist was working in her mouth. She said the last two she took her to refused to let her in the back while she was with the dentist and were quite rude to her. Hope that helps some...

although you have to stand in the back in a tight spot, I have always gone back with my kids here. However, I've only ever had to have cleaning and X-rays done. Nothing else; so I'm not sure if you can for any other procedures. This site has a phone number, you can call and ask: http://www.thedentistplacespringhillkids.com

I highly recommend Dr Medler. He’s not a pediatric dentist, per se, but he has such a wonderful personality and is great with my daughter. I’m not sure what insurance plans his office accepts, so you’ll have to call to find out. He’s a very honest dentist, and won’t try to sell you something that you don’t need.

It’s a new office, and it’s not part of the health department anymore but It it’s in the same building. My daughter is 7 and I liked them better than her dentist. I brought her there because I couldn’t get her in at her dentist. They were amazing.

Definitely safari of smiles in Pasco on Rowan rd. I recommended it on another post. My daughter has been going there for years and she loves it!!! It is rare when you tell your kids it's time to go to the dentist and they actually get excited!:) Dr Pe ttinato is a wonderful dentist and takes his time with the kids and explains everything and it's a fun atmosphere for them. It's a bit of a drive from spring hill, but totally worth it!!

My son LOVES Dr. Issa at The Dentist Place for Kids. He's been going there for over a year now and we've never had any problems. They are really great with both of my kids, ages 6 and 2. They will not do x-rays on my 2 yo yet, which, I am completely fine with.
