I am nearly finished with a chestpiece done by an artist at Ever After Gallery. His name is Jeremiah. I did some online research, first, and from what I've seen, ALL their artists do amazing custom work. It's also nice that they specialize in different styles. I went in to the consultation with the mindset that if he didn't collaborate with me in a respectful manner (that includes not nitpicking the tattoos I've had done elsewhere), I would walk out. But, I really felt heard and comfortable in the shop. He was humble, listened to my preferences, and was willing to do what I wanted, while being able to produce his own custom piece. I really love what he did for me.

Ohhh no.. look for consistency in the artists work.. .. I have a few tattoos by the same artist and such a lack of consistency . I have learned my lesson and now I agree with Jeff Pietrzyk that Steve LaMantia at Requiem is one of the best artists around. But you have to be patient since he books up quickly..... (that alone should tell you something=)
