Man, this is a toughie. I too have a large rescued adult GSD from the the dog pound there who had lots of serious issues when I sprung her and I'll tell ya went through a lot of shitty "trainers" ad wasted even more money. Eugene/Springfield is severely lacking in real canine behavioralists. I would recommend talking to Leanne schilling (anyone got her contact on here? She's the owner of curious K9 Boutique) or calling (541) 342-7218 and leaving a msg for Dr Gibson regarding recommendations. There's a really good lady she pointed me towards many years ago in like Salem or Albany, I can't remember her name like naudia or something

I agree with Julie. I too think LeeAnn Schilling is a great resource. Family has specialized in training German shepherds for 35+ years. If She's unavailable, then I recommend Cindy Ehlers of http://www.pawsitivepet.org/ She also specializes in dogs that have problem issues. She done a lot of work with shelter animals that have reactive or aggressive issues.
Can anyone help or know of a vet who takes payments?
Mary R. replied:
Try Emerald Valley on west 11 th, not sure, they have a great wellness plan that is $59.00 down then payments for a year, depending on what plan you choose, it saved me $1000.00 on a surgery for shadow, and alot is covered or a percentage off. call them 541-484-1414

If you are low income...you may want to try Community Veterinary Center on Hwy 99. It is NOT a free clinic but lower cost, however there are limitations to what they can do, but I am sure they can handle an infection, if that is what it is. An exam is $25, any kind of treatment and/or medications is extra, but will be cheaper than full-service vet. Hope that helps. CVC does NOT do payments, so come prepared with money. Kitty needs vet attention.
I know this is not muffin related but we are a community and I figured I would try to reach out. I know some of you muffin families are from the Oregon area? My...
