I was considering going to urgent care tomorrow. I have shitty marketplace insurance but I just want to get diagnosed. Can figure out treatment later. This is the most discomfort I've ever been in and I've been through some shit.

Try Southhampton healthcare on Hampton. They’ve always been able to get me in fairly quickly.

Downtown Urgent Care is a fully operating clinic. They are open 24 hours a day and you can walk in any time. I think they are connected to one located in Creve Coeur if downtown isn’t your thing.

Start documenting in detail now. What you feel, when, how long. Be specific. Record any pains, digestive issues, changes in sensation; record your sleep, and photograph anything strange that comes out of your body--any orifice. Put it in a Google doc and tell whoever you see that you will share it with them. (Make sure they can view but only you can edit.) Also record all the times you've been turned away--when, who you saw, what you reported, what they dismissed it as.

Here is the link to our PHI Directory:...

From my experience there is no one physician who has specific experience with a number of post polio patients. I can recommend my physician, Dr. Dennis Tietze who supported my care for almost 30 years before I moved from Topeka because we lived the experience together from my late 30 s to through my 50 s.
