Do you want to stay local? We go to Doernbecher General Pediatric clinic up on the hill in downtown Portland. The kids all love it. They also have specific adolescent drs which my teens much prefer.

I for one am sooo happy to hear there are that many options out here. I've also wanted to find a new pediatrician for a while. Dr. A has improved a little but still not very kid friendly.

So, it is a drive, I will not lie, but we use Hillsboro Pediatric clinic. They have a newborn care team including a lactation consultant. I don't even have a "primary" Doctor there (even though I could) because I have NEVER had a doctor or NP that wasn't stellar.

I left them too and currently go to OHSU in Scappoose with Dr. Brooks. I haven't had an appointment with her yet, but she has gotten good referrals from friends of mine:)

If you're ok with traveling to NW Portland, Portland Pediatrics is in the Montgomery Park building. They are open 7 days a week, year round. http://www.portlandpediatric.com

Doesn't have to be local. I don't know that there is any local? I'd rather have a pediatrician than family practice. I was going to check the Child and Adolescent clinic in Longview but I don't know if that's in our network if it's out of state.

I like Brooks and Penner at OHSU. Brooks is usually busy and hard to see at times. They are both awesome and take the time to look over my children and fully explain everything to me.:)

We go to Pediatric Associates of the NW. It takes a half hour or less to get to from my house in Scappoose, super easy drive. We see Dr. Bruce Birk
