There are so many good food options that you probably need to narrow things down a bit. Any type/region/dish you have in mind? What's your price range?

Wherever you pick to eat, make it somewhere with a lively area / Main Street type. Clayton Downtown, Central West End, Soulard, Wash Ave, The Hill, etc. Going up the arch is always a nice treat for out of towners if she’s never been.

Compton Hill Water Tower is also open this weekend (12-4 http://watertowerfoundation.org/event/monthly-saturday-opening-water-tower-open-to-the-public-18/). It's only open the first weekend of the month and when there's a full moon. Not sure if it's your thing, but you could go climb up the tower, get an awesome view of the city and grab lunch on South Grand.
