Sami, dont worry about biker-friendly stays. Just go and book what you fancy...or just stop where you find most interesting. Hungary ill recommend: https://www.facebook.com/motocamphungary Croatia get in touch with Zeljan Rakela. Zeljan will show you the best routes. Also other guys from BMW-Split will help you. I've had this place saved to my favorites for a year. Not sure why it hasn't sold yet but it's just not in the cards for us right now. https://m.realtor.ca/Residential/Recreational/15906488/4933-TUNKWA-LAKE-ROAD-Kamloops-British-Columbia?cultureid=1&utm_source=RealtorAndroidAppCP&utm_medium=Share-EmailListing&utm_campaign=ListingLink

Browns Camp is cheap camping in the forest. The trails are right there for you. Just get the 2 year decal from the forest office down the highway from the campsite. I think it was $15. Get a forest map there too. If all the trails are open, you have a good 3 days in the forest to do everything. Sand Lake in Tillamook is not great sand. It is fun for a short time, but its just two big bowls and the beach. The dunes down by Florence are fun. Need a flag for the dunes. They are everywhere in Tillamook to get one.
Sam R. replied:
Haven't been to Browns but been to sand lake and Florence. We camped in sandbeach campground at sand Lake and Driftwood 2 at Florence. You can also camp on the sand at either place. Sand Lake is small and pretty flat, there's not much to do there with a truck. You can drive right down to the ocean though which I don't believe you can do at Florence. The Florence dunes are a lot more interesting, but they were super dry and soft when we went there, real easy to get stuck in a truck.
Hey everyone.. I'm looking for GPS tracks (if anyone has em).. we are looking to plan a bit of a road trip, doing the Harrison to Boston Bar route (including the hot...
Matt I. replied:
I don't think it's possible to entirely avoid pavement. Getting to Boston Bar is easy, just drive through Harrison Hot Springs on the main drag and keep going - turns into gravel and takes you via the Kookipi to North Bend and Boston Bar.
You can actually find a lot just by dragging a route on Google Maps. Put Merritt as your start point and Boston Bar as the end point, then grab the path it shows and drag it into the wilderness....

Hey guys I'm going up to the sunshine coast this weekend and I'm looking for a nice place to off road and camp. Any suggestions? I have a stock wrangler so nothing to...
Adam S. replied:
Dragon Lake on the Halfmoon Bay FSR is pretty awesome...stock Wrangler should have no issues if you take the Carlson Lake Loop in the BRMB and come at it from the East. Just stick to HCR Branch 1 and you'll eventually see obvious mains to the right, trio of lakes in there. Take a fly rod set up with floating line and a mosquito (dry fly), tons of trout action!
Recommendations on backcountry camping spots along oregon coast anyone? Or even just paid camp sites as well.
Andy C. replied:
I second that comment Jeff. The Jessie M Honeyman state park is amazing. They even have a quad and off-road friendly section that you can go straight out to the dunes from. Good luck getting in though. We made our reservations for August last December.
