Does anyone have any good advice or recommendations on lasik?

I had both of my eyes done by Dr. DeSai in Largo at the Eye Institute

Worked for Dr Updegraff as an ophthalmic nurse for 5-6 years. He is an amazing surgeon with stellar results. You should go see him for a consultation. Definitely a life-changing surgery!

Dr Groden at Lasik Plus did mine a few years ago. He was great.

Dr. Groden did mine about 8 years ago. Best decision I ever made!

Dr Sibley in St. Pete. Corey went there and has had great results, I will be going next year.
I went to Eye Care Associates of Nevada and I believe it was Hiss or Hartman who did it.
Rebekah H. replied:
Kyle & I had ours done by Dr. Seims & love it! He called us personally after to make sure we got home safe & answer any questions we may have had. Highly recommend him!
Janine L. replied:
I had it done in 1999 and I was legally blind before I had it. I still have 20/20 vision today. Only side effect is dry eye, but that's manageable. Dr. Gregory Hsu is very good!!

Joe had it done a few years ago and loved the results. He went to Mark Doubrava.
Does anyone have any recommendations in Tampa for LASIK surgery? Or just any good advice to give me. I want/need it bad but am pretty nervous about it. Thanks in advance.

I got mine done in Pittsburgh about 6 years ago and was the best decision ever!! You won't regret it! I got mine done at TLC Laser Eye Center and there are locations all over. You can go to www.tlcvision.com to check it out if you want - my eye doctor recommended me there. It was a little scary (well, more weird than scary) while it was happening but def get both eyes on the same day, that way you'll get it done in one shot. I know some people who got one eye and went back at another time to get the other. I'm glad got both the same day bc it would have given me time to analyze in between procedures otherwise. For me, the hardest part of the 'recovery' was not being able to rub my eyes because I often do... Other than that it was super easy! If you have any questions at all let me know! I'm happy to help!!
I am interested in having lasik eye surgery done later this year. Looking for recommendations for local doctors. Who have you used and are you pleased with the results?
Jenica G. replied:
There's been a bunch of threads on this recently if you search. I just had mine done at Tylock in Irving last Thursday. I had 20/15 vision the next day, almost no pain (very mild burning like after staying up all night), and less than a week out now and I don't even have dryness. From all my research Key Whitman and Tylock are the best in Dallas and the only ones with the latest technology. Getting lasik was the best thing I have ever paid for.
Jeanette M. replied:
Not many to recommend locally. My husband and I had Dr. Boothe. Absolutely professional and no issues. Although, you are treated as if on an assenbly line- but this is how he masters his craft!
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get LASIK surgery done? I've been looking around and seeing thing from $299/eye to a couple thousand an eye.
