Anyone know off any great affordable pet clinics in the area? I just got a puppy and he's about 10 weeks old. I need to get him started on his shots along with a exam....
Dana Q. replied:
I've been looking into clinics that PetClub and Tractor Supply has on weekends. They both have VIP Pet Care at their facility and their website shows a breakdown of shot packages they provide. They vary from around $55-$75:)
Jon B. replied:
Vet co is a good way to go With one of there packages
The Humane Society in Phoenix offers lower cost vaccines on certain Saturdays. Give 'email a call.

San Tan animal hospital I wouldn't go anywhere else ever. Dr Darger!!!
Kiersten T. replied:
Honestly I wouldn't give the immunizations on your own. Yes you can buy them from the feed store but you can't be sure of the product itself. I would go with AZ Pet Vet they are great!
Peggy Y. replied:
Take him to the Spay Neuter clinic on Alma School & German - very good & extremely reasonable vaccinations
Katie B. replied:
I have no idea why anyone would make a rude comment when all your doing is being a responsible pet owner by getting the puppy their shots? Anyway I digress...... Power Ranch Animal Clinic has recently been absolutely amazing for us. My dog is pretty sick, so it's a different situation, but they have been very reasonably priced and haven't charged me for a couple things to try and help me out. They also have a sister clinic that is in the fry's parking lot on combs and gantzel.
Jenny F. replied:
Signal Butte vet n grooming. They take payments, no credit check etc. 25% down and payments then. They're at Signal Butte and Guadalupe in the frys market place plaza

Go to Aaha.org. They have higher standards of accreditation than anyone else - just put your zip code in and it'll bring up plenty of options. Congrats on the new pup!
Malisa C. replied:
Arizona Animal Wellness Center is amazing. They are on pecos and higley. Affordable prices as well!
Barbara T. replied:
Vetco has a puppy package that includes all shots, dewormer, and I think an exam as well for only $64 all together. They show up at petco different days of the week. Way cheaper than normal vet clinics. You can look up their schedule and locations online. :) https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/vaccination-packages-and-prices/

Banfield Pet Hospital is awesome! It's inside Petsmart. For between $25-35 a month, you get unlimited free visits, all your shots for free, and discounts on medication and all kinds of stuff. I do the $35/mo plan bc you get a free teeth cleaning per year and my pups won't let me in their mouths without them being knocked out. I've had nothing but great experiences with them! They have puppy plans too!
Nicole S. replied:
Val vista Animal Hospital. They have puppy plans. You pay every 4-6 weeks until puppy is done with all vaccines. Also the puppy plan includes discount on microchip and neuter/Spay. Been taking my babies there for years! All the doctors and staff are great, but we are pretty partial to Dr. Sarah Little.
anybody have any recommendations on coaching, clinics, one-on-one instruction, etc in the SLC/PC area? I feel like I've been stuck in the intermediate phase for far too...

Cannonball Racing
Brete T. replied:
Cannonball only does youth. Betterride.net does camps all over the US, incliding PC, Hurricane, and Moab. I did their 2-day course and my speed exploded after a couple months of practice.
Ian B. replied:
I race for mjs cannonball racing and I can tell you that the coaching is top of the line. I have also taken some of Gene Hamilton better ride camps and if you do your drulls, what he tells you can go a long way in improving how you ride. I would probably suggest the better ride because matt is extremely busy with his full time job and us racers and genes course is fun and can really improve your riding. Just check out betterride.net
Matt B. replied:
Thanks, betterride.net looks like a great option albeit expensive. I emailed Cannonball as well to see what they say. Anyone have any experience taking private or group lessons at Deer Valley?

Ditto Erik Olsen!

My parents dog got hit by a car yesterday :( and they took him to the vet... They are saying it's going to be $5000. For surgery to get his back legs fixed... Does...
Becky P. replied:
My neighbor and I just took our dogs to Mexico to a vet there. Her dog had knee surgery for a dislocated knee cap and a torn ACL. The entire cost of his surgery was just under 900 bucks. Here in the US her vet wanted 8,000 bucks!! The US phone number is 928-482-7103. If you would like more information, please pm me and I will be happy to share information

Care Credit is a good place to start anyhow. It helps a lot and gives you 6 months to make the payments.
Hi friends, anyone know of vet clinics who take payment plans for surgeries? Friend has a pup with a nonmalignant tumor that keeps growing on her chest and last quote...
Brenna M. replied:
Roadrunner vet clinic does payments. It's all the way out in like Glendale though.
Seraphim P. replied:
Find a vet that works with synchrony financial. They have credit cards that are specific to vets and pets, and can only be used at the vet. The vet will contact the CC company with exact amount that is needed for the surgery, and usually within 5-10 minutes they know if you have been approved for the amount. If the amount is large enough, sometimes it is interest free for half a year or even a full year. But definitely get it paid off asap, one the interest hits, it's insane. I have a one of their CCs for my dentist, and another for my car. My friend got one when his dog needed a hip replacement.
Mike N. replied:
Not sure about payments, but would recommend Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic for the operation.
Samantha C. replied:
Dobson Ranch Animal Hospital! There's like a $20 fee for the program, but no interest as long as you make your monthly payment. Payment plans can go up to a year.
Julio S. replied:
Jesus Christ. Tell them to go to Mexico. Gypsies was removed for $150.
My cat has a really bad cut that looks like it could require stitches that I just noticed. I've cleaned it and put neosporin on him. But are there any low cost clinics...
Lilly M. replied:
Marco Polandkowski
Cathie M. replied:
I'd monitor it for 24 to 48 hours. Cats are cats and get cuts. They aren't like humans and can lick their cuts with their antiseptic like tongues and heal most things. You could give it an antibiotic for precaution. Get something at Tempe Feed and Tack.
Hey neighbs! Can anyone recommend affordable vets or clinics in the area? I've noticed a little growth on my cat's side and want to get her checked out.
