I would recommend Heather Garner. She has extensive experience in working with consensually non-monogamous individuals & couples. She is located in Towson. However, as above posted, she may have limited availability. Here is a link to her Psychology Today:

Additionally, I would recommend Susan Stork. Her office is in Mt. Washington, not far from Charles Village (about 10 minutes). Here are some helpful links:

Both Heather Garner and Susan Stork have extensive experience in working with this population. In addition, they both hold expertise in trauma and grief & loss. Unfortunately, to my knowledge they both have limited availability for new clients, but both do seem like they could be a great fit if your friend has a flexible schedule.
Best of luck in your search.

I don’t have suggestions but can tell you Sandra Snow, as good as she is in other areas, is not a good match for anyone who is poly. Her husband is also a therapist, I assume he is the same but can’t speak from experience. Edited for wording. She would not discriminate who she works with! I just don’t recommend if your main issues are poly related

I don't have any direct recommendations to share, but the link below should be able to guide you to one. Scroll down to the "how do I find one?" section. It contains links to two searchable, professional databases: http://hedonish.com/schgst-sex-positive-doctors-therapists/

I'm glad you're getting some good feedback. Another therapist to consider is Susan Stork LCPC. She is in Baltimore City off Falls Road. I'm sharing her Instagram and website so you can get an overview of her style and approach. https://www.instagram.com/space_between_counselinghttp://www.spacebetweencounselingservices.com

A friend strongly recommends Stefani Levin at the Women's Growth Center (5029 York Road in Govans)--overall they claim a feminist approach to therapy so would be worth checking out.

Alex saw a Psychologist named Karen Fragetta at Med Psych associates on Joppa Rd. (near Greenspring Station). She was great at helping Alex develop strategies to over come his anxieties ( Not trying to change the child but helped him change the way he thinks about and copes with. anxiety.) She was recommended by his Psychiatrist DR. Barbara Kim. They're in the same building. We went to Sheppard Pratt first and was not happy with the psychologist there.

FYI, we met with Dr. Griffith. He was fantastic. He and his staff are extremely thorough. They are pricing wise along the lines with others we have heard of. A bonus is, if in the event your friend is working with an advocate, he is VERY familiar with that process. As well, is available for IEP/team meetings as well as court (for a fee of course) which for us was very important

Not sure if you're looking for ongoing therapy or a psychoeducational eval, but Stuart Berman is local and amazing with evals. Not sure if he does any therapy anymore.

After a frustrating search (you are right! not many options in your area!) I found this practice that hopefully is just what you are looking for. http://www.newdaypsych.com/Evaluation.htm Also, check out these folks. You can find all the BCBAs and BCaBAs listed by state on the BCBA website. I think it's just BCBA.org (it's been awhile since I've visited the website)

Autism and Behavior Services is located in Chattanooga. They have two BCBAs. My son sees Laura. I'm out of town and don't have their # handy but you can google them and get their contact info. Hope this helps:)

Good luck Toni. You might call Karen Weigle at Center for Pediatric Therapy and ask her for a recommendation.
Toni T. replied:
Dr Rogers did our eval but you cannot get in there on a regular basis for therapy....I need someone that has a more flexible schedule than once or twice a year.

Alyce Benson and Karen Wiegle at The Chattanooga Therapy Center....I've actually worked with those guys professionally with behavior and I can't think of any better!
