Loved Fabio for Italian but in think they are closed down ... Mikasa is good for Sushi, just don't expect a cocktail that needs to have carbonation in it... Since they opened all their carb are flat... But if you are looking for a nice dinner for two ... Go over the hill...

Carls Jr great but a little pricey. Taco Bell has a fantastic menu if u interested in mexican cuisine

Tracy Thai and Thai Cafe are solid Dining options....I am a big fan of Strings....Banta Inn used to be able to drop a pretty good meal....I also like Casa Flores a lot. I just had a really nice, solid altho not all that fancy meal at Taqueria La Mexic...See More

I get it Paul Heally! And I'm trying to support local business, but sometimes I wanna eat at a "shinier" joint! Thai Cafe is great for lunch but the decor... Well that's enough about that. Looking forward to the other spots (Dickies & 5 Guys) for a family options. But where can a couple or group of grown ups go to have a nice meal and drinks without the... Well you know...? And the Plate is NOT an option.

I'm willing to bet that this photo was taken at Balboa Stadium in San Diego in the early-mid fifties. U.R.A. raced weekly at this track! The Stadium was open ended, like Hughes Stadium in Sacramento but had those columns across the open-end of the field. The track/stadium was converted for the newly formed Chargers in 1970 and midgets lost another home. Tom MJ Motter

Pizza I go to Garlic Brothers in Stockton by Boat Pizza cooked in a wood fired oven.. You don't get that metal oven taste.. Great food there with deep fried ravioli with garlic. Dip them in little ranch and a great drink from their bar.. Good day with a 70 mph boat ride there and back
