Dr. Gayle Horvitz out of Cardon Childrens Hospital was very supportive of our choice to blenderize. We left PCH GI because they were not supportive. Unfortunately we did not find a local nutritionist that we liked. I have heard good things about the one in Tucson.

I believe SPEAK Tucson has a list of doctors and nutritionists who support a plant based diet. Maybe someone saved it from the email, unfortunately I deleted it. I know there are a few in town.

We've worked with a coule in PHX and they were no help. If your willing to go to Tucson (we do for feeding therapy) Marsha Dunne Klein is an OT that put together a program and book for blended diet. She is a wealth if knowledge and awesome. Check out mealtimeconnections.com.

There are two great books that have lots of information and are very helpful. One is Homemade Blended formula handbook available at mealtimenotions.com. The other is by Eric o'gorman available at Amazon. You don't need a dietician or permission. Just do it. Get a good blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec. That is the single greatest help you can have.
