I need some advice. I have been menstruating for a month to be exact. I need to see a dr. but I have no insurance. Does anyone know where I can go that I can get...
Nicole R. replied:
'm not sure about the insurance but I know Planned Parenthood offers services that are less expensive that most independent Drs offices.

Heather H. replied:
St. Elizabeth's Health Clinic does sliding scale for OB patients, I think they also do care for other women's care too. Hopefully El Rio can help you out too
Courtney K. replied:
I believe there are two Planned Parenthood sites in Tucson. Call 520.408.7526 for the one on Wetmore and 520.408.7526 for the one on Wyatt. They provide low-cost and no-cost services.
Hey Tucson alumni - I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for an eastern/holistic/naturopathic medical practitioner in Tucson? My mom has a recurring health issue...
Dan G. replied:
For Homeopathy I recommend Dr's Flagler. They've been practicing in Tucson for over 30 years. http://www.drflagler.com/ For acupuncture, I recommend Sunny White: http://sonjawhite.com/
Cathy K. replied:
Hi Jay, Dan's recommendation looks great. Also, with the UofA and Dr. Weil's Integrative Medicine program there, perhaps you can find someone within or an MD graduate from to help give further opinions and care for your Mom. Here's a link to a clinic that the Integrative Medicine center has in Tucson. I've never been there, but I follow Dr. Weil closely and really like his approach and teachings. The website also has Doctors listed that have taken some Integrative Medicine and are practicing in Tucson: http://integrativemedicine.arizona.edu/clinic/index.html

Midwives at Valley Women for Women hands down. They helped me deliver my 2 babies. My first was a csection and they were amazing in helping me have my successful VBAC with my second. They are definitely more on the holistic side and have a great Family Circle program where you can meet other moms that are expecting the same time as you plus dads can go since it is held in the evening.
Rene G. replied:
I second the Midwives at Valley Women for Women!! I saw Belinda & Janice throughout my entire pregnancy and they were amazing, I did hypnobirthing and they new I wanted to have a "home birth at the hospital". Belinda delivered my little guy and it was amazing. It was only her, myself and my husband in the room and she even had my husband "catch" Travis:) I highly recommend!! Good luck!!!
Jennifer J. replied:
Drs. Goodman & Partridge OB/GYN, has an office in Santan Valley. I've been to that office once, so I don't know the doctors there that well but you can look them up online and ask them some questions. It's worth a try.
Susan H. replied:
I guess that I fourth the Midwives at Valley Women for Women! They are amazing and will so everything in their power to help you achieve a successful VBAC.
I hardly ever post here- but desperate time/desperate measures:) I am looking for recommendations for a OBGYN ((with a good bedside manner )! Mine is not concerned that...
Susan M. replied:

I see Dr. Vicky Sherman by St. Joseph's hospital. She takes her time and listens to you.
Paula M. replied:
Dr. Addis or Dr Weisert at Copperstate. I see Dr Brainard there, but have seen both of the others. Dr Brainard is more matter of fact than they are. Pls get checked out! Having those sensations is no fun.
Jennifer M. replied:

Dawn S. replied:

Crystal R. replied:
I second Dr. Goll, and pretty sure she is ob/gyn. I'm glad you posted this Rita I need a primary care Dr. So im creeping on all your recommendations.
So, both my general practitioner and ob/gyn have relocated. I'm looking for some new doctors. Anyone have any recommendations?
Emily D. replied:
For ob/gyn I would recommend Vicky Sherman. I love her and her nurse practitioner Lori. They are amazing! Cassie Fuller and Jen Anderson also go to her. As for general.... I don't have one. When I get sick I go to urgent care. Stacy Barnes Winstryg gave me a name of someone out here in Vail/RR area but I can't remember who.
Stacy W. replied:
Renee, I did go to Azam up at Vail Internal Medicine by DQ for awhile, but ended up feeling like he wanted you to come in too often, lots of blood work, etc. I have not moved on to anyone else yet, but if I find a good one I will let you know. I am sure all of the wonderful ladies in Vail will have good comments!
Steffanie F. replied:
My obgyn is Jennifer Hutchison at Sunflower Women's Health, she is the best!!! I don't go to a general practitioner much, but I went to Monica Moore once for a checkup at the Carondelet clinic by Fry's and she was really friendly and made me feel really comfortable.
Sarah A. replied:
Dr. Decker in the Carondelet building next to St Joes. He is great...been with him for all my babies and my sister and a lot of friends go to him and really like him.
Camille H. replied:
Jennifer Hutchison is wonderful, I'd almost have another just for her
Letysha A. replied:
Dr. Reinhart at crossroads obgyn. She is amazing! I switched to her 4 weeks before delivery and it was worth the extra cost to transfer last second
