Can anyone recommend an honest auto repair shop near 66? Preferably one that knows Hondas. Appreciate any advice.
Also, if anyone can find the link, I recall...

They do a great job at a very reasonable price.

I've gone to C&C Garage in Vienna about 4 times for different issues in the last year. They always talk me through options and keep the cost down. I keep going back. Also, there's a transmission shop right next door, so if your car needs that they're on it.

Curry's Auto Service. Had my car there to check the breaks, looked at them, were fine, no charge. A friend takes his car too and he's pretty fussy about who he'll let touch his car. http://www.yelp.com/biz/currys-auto-service-falls-church

66 is a rather long road. Can you be more specific?

I know two: Tysons Auto Specialties: http://www.tysonsauto.com/ They are VERY good, but also expensive. I usually go here: http://vienna.patch.com/listings/cedar-park-shell Also very good, but less expensive. Mechanic is very nice and talks my ear off about exactly what he is doing to my car. Honest, tries to help me find the cheapest way to get my car fixed.

My family has taken all our cars, including two Hondas, to C&C Garage in Vienna for the past 15 years. We've always been thrilled with their prices, turnaround time, and honesty -- if a repair could be put off for a while, they'll let you know so you can save a little money. They've even told me to do some repairs myself, and explained how to do them (I like working on my cars, but I'm pretty inexperienced) rather than even offering to do it themselves. http://www.candcgarage.com/

Speaking which, does anyone know of a good one near Fairfax/Springfield?

My co-worker recommended Vienna Gas & Auto to me and I felt they were ok, not bad. Other auto stores tried to push expensive repairs and what i thought was grossly inflated costs. These guys seemed reasonable, but double check with another shop to be sure. http://www.yelp.com/biz/vienna-gas-and-auto-vienna

We go to Convenience Car Care in Manassas. Hubby is a car guy so he is confident they never try to screw us over with unnecessary work. We usually buy the parts online and bring them in with us, since they have to charge a markup to make a profit. They have no issue with us bringing our parts in and hubby will go in and watch them work (since he's a car fanatic and loves working on cars, not because he doesn't trust them) and they will talk him through what they're doing. Just a great place.

Kim's Auto Service. 3707 Pickett Rd Fairfax, VA 22031 (703) 425-4600http://www.kimsautoserviceva.com/home.html My whole family goes to Mr. Kim for our car woes. The real selling point for me personally was when I needed to get one of my wheels replaced on my Volvo: I had gone to the "Volvo guys" where I bought the car used, and they quoted me around $250 to get it done. Mr. Kim took a look, said I definitely needed to get it done for safety reasons, then charged me $125. He's quick, honest, and depending on your needs, will recommend either a replacement/quick fix/etc.
Messed up TC's left wheel/rim Friday after losing control on black ice slamming it into the curb while going down a steep hill at a curve and messing up many things....
