Does anyone know a place in DC Michael and I can go play with puppies? Like a pet store? Not the pound.

Lost Dog Animal Rescue in Northern VA has adoption events where you can go play with the dogs. They have one on Saturdays at the PetSmart in Alexandria (Potomac Yard shopping center). If you want something more regular, they need volunteers to help wit h adoption events. It involves playing with a particular dog or two for three hours and showing them off to potential adopters. We fostered dogs with them for a couple of years and really enjoyed it. It's a great organization. Tell Barb I say "Hi." http://lostdogrescue.org

Take him to Bridges Pets in Snohomish. They have an awesome fish room that my dogs love to go in to look at all the tanks. Awesome pet store too!

Norm's Ale House & Eatery in Seattle's Fremont district is a dog friendly restaraunt both inside & out! (kids are welcome too.) They even have food offerings for your dog. Last time I checked, Scuttlebutt's Restaraunt in Everett has a dog friendly patio.

Downtown Edmonds is pretty dog friendly as well. There's also a dog restaurant in the Edmonds area, located at Firdale Village. Serves food ONLY to dogs, no human food. LOL
