We used J.M. Tree Service a little over a year ago for two ginormous trees that were really, really close to our house. They were, by far, the least expensive, but they were quick, professional, and did an amazing job. Highly recommend them and will use them for any of our future needs.

Christopher Caldwell saved my mother's life when she had breast cancer. He cried when he couldn't save my father's life when he had pancreatic cancer. But he did surgery to give my dad 1 more year with us. He's the very best.
In need of references for board certified animal surgeon, good or bad? I'm asking for a dear friend, her 6 year old dog glucose levels are low, veterinarian says...
Ed F. replied:
Weve used Sodus Animal Hospital for years. Nothing but high regards. Also very reasonable pricing.

My dog had insulinoma; it's very rare in dogs, common in ferrets and seen mostly in middle-aged dogs when it does happen. My vet at Clark's diagnosed it and said she had only see one other case in 30 years. Surgery was done at the Henrietta vet hospital (I can look up the surgeon if you want). Prognosis depends on how far the pancreas is affected which they don't really know until they operate. My dog lived a quality life for 3 years, 9 months on a twice daily Predisone pill that only cost 10 cents each. She was almost 12 when she passed.
