Dr. Wendy Sweeney. ..she is a mobile vet too. She is very reasonable. I paid 160 to have my rescue neutered, microchipped, registered, she cleaned his teeth and his eyes because he had an infection I wasn't aware of. He wound up ripping his stitches open gave me pain meds, antibiotics and the cone and charged nothing additional.

Hamilton Crossings Animal Hospital on 32 just before Carey Rd is where we went before we moved to OH.
Carrie K. replied:
Spay, vaccines, and microchip can be had on the cheap at the low cost spay/neuter clinic in Noblesville. For anything else, I've had good experiences with Dr. Clayton at Carter Vet and Dr. Bundy at Westfield Vet. Not sure if it's what you were considering it I would recommend waiting to declaw until 1 year of age. Long-time kitty rescue owner says declawing before then often will turn kittens into biters.
Janice A. replied:
Hazel Dell Veterinary- Dr Greg McDaniel is the BOMB! Only cost 200$ with anesthesia to get my dogs teeth cleaned and she has periodontal disease- also immunization ate comparable to low cost clinic and they referred to me 1-800 pet meds for heart worm and flea and tic. Trust me they are great!

Carrie K. replied:
Owner of a local kitty rescue with decades of experience under her belt told me that declawing before age 1 will often result in a biter. Kittens no longer have a way to defend and will take to biting (even when you'd think there'd be no reason to need to defend). Just fyi. A couple of good cat scratching posts/perches will go a long way (along with a water squirt bottle to stop unwanted behaviors). I've had good experiences with effective medium-sized units at Amazon costing $60-75. For spay & vaccines, can't beat the deal offered at the Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in Noblesville. For other stuff, I love Dr. Bundy at Westfield Veterinary. She diagnosed and fixed a health problem that another vet I respected couldn't. I'm passionate about kitties, so feel free to ask me any questions about them, or recommended products, or anything else.
Crystal G. replied:
Westfield Vet for sure!!!!! Can't say enough good about them and they are so close!
Does anyone have a small animals vet (specifically looking for my bunny) that they line in the Westfield areas?
Andrea H. replied:
I'm Pretty sure Plainfield Veterinary Hospital specializes in small animals.
Nicola M. replied:
Just following for further reference. We had a seriously hard time for our bunny we lost two years ago. We went through Garden State Vet in tinton falls who tried for over a week to find us an exotic pet vet or a regular vet who dealt with bunnies due to their small passages and abscess issues. It was a nightmare and didn't end well for us.
Carol B. replied:
There are several vets at the Westfield Vet Group on Springfield Ave that specialize in small animals. I have a rabbit and my daughter had her rabbit neutered there. I take my cats and dogs there too.
