Hello Whitewater Lake....can anyone recommend a local dog kennel? Thanks!

Country Kennels. It's on McCabe Rd. about two minutes from JNT Marina. Ask for Casey. He has a great set up out there and rates are very reasonable. Dogs are not kept in small cages. He has a large dog run outdoors that's leads into a nice pole barn. Call Casey at 414-517-4085

Looking for a recommendation for a good boarding kennel for dogs, with outdoor space for play....clean, safe, dog-loving and all that! Thanks!

We have used Skydance Pet Lodge just north of Eagle. Right in the state forest, nice people and our pups seem to like it. They usually share a villa:) www.skydancepetlodge.com

The first time I came across a staffer at Skydance Pet Lodge he was "exercising" their dogs by tying them to a 4Wheeler on these attached bars that looked like an octopus and running the quad along side the road on Hwy ZZ heading Eastbound. I was driving to work, and MORTIFIED at the thought that one of those poor dogs would trip and be choked to death!!! Just a thought to share. It was back in 2010, but I still would never take my animals there.
I am looking for a pet sitter for a few different dates this summer. Does anybody have recommendations?

I would check out Rover.com. I know someone who is fantastic with dogs. Her name is Brittany Vogel. I know she is on Rover.

My neighbor uses Lynn Morke 608-469-2936. They got her name from one of the vets in town. Lynn is very caring and comes to sit and pet them. And will come over several times during the day . She takes them for walks and sits with them outside. The pups all love her!
I am looking for a dog walker once a day while I am at work. You do not need to have a dog sitting business, but references would be required. Any recommendations?
Mary B. replied:
Where do you live Debbie? I love to walk, even on the coldest winter days for the past 25 yrs.. I don't have any formal references except having lived at Whitewater Lake for 25 yrs. I know Henri Kinson, Clyde & Amy Curtis, Tim Bieneck, Don McComb, Jamie Gunter & many others around this lake.
