No but I am I'm going to do what I can I have one person taking the thing to see if I can get Care Credit but other than that I am doing what I can I'm working with the vet now hopefully I will be able to let me come in and see them but that's only if my aunt will write supposed to check I'm not sure I'm trying really hard I really am it's all of a sudden it happened
Katie J. replied:
Sounds like a spinal injury, and especially in relation to his already having a bad back. I hope you can find a place to get him in quickly so he doesn't get worse or become paralyzed or worse. I would call Dr Bergey at Blue Cross. They're very low cost in general, and he's very caring towards animals and may be able to help someway.

Short update for those following April and Moon Pie today. April is at Raintree Vet in Hoq with Moon Pie. She is hopefully going to be squeezed in to see the Vet. Her evaluation fee has been covered. (#payingitforward)

Blue Cross Vet is wonderful with dogs. My Olga had seizures. He worked with us. Olga didn't make it, but he was so kind.

Everyone has their own opinions. In my opinion, I do not like Vesta Creek. I called the other day to get a price to get my dog fixed just so i knew how much to budget. The woman who answered the phone proceeded to tell me I "don't care about my animal" because "i was refusing to make an appointment for her" (It was $175 to get her fixed, plus another $30-$50 for two sets of shots.) If I didn't care about my animal I wouldn't have been calling - And i'm not the type to just spend money without budgeting what I am spending. Long story short, she hung up on me after I refused to make an appointment for my dog. I took my father's cat to Brady vet. He couldn't breathe. For an after hours visit, medications, an X-Ray and to stay over night at the clinic the total came to roughly $400. Which, I believe is pretty awesome for an emergent visit! (Come to find out he had a hair ball stuck, and also had asthma.) We had another dog in 2011 (She either ran away or was kidnapped) that got poisioned. She was walking sideways, her tongue hanging out, just...bad. Come to find out someone put antifreeze all over our back yard (true story. we found out later who it was) We took her to Raintree and they were super nice, they gave us charcoal to take home for her, and her visit was roughly $75.00 As I said, everyone has their own opinions:) It seems as though Brady and Raintree are favored though!

I travel to Scatter Creek Vet in Rochester...I may spend a little more time & gas, but the overall cost savings is so worth it. Plus, the Vet is into all kinds of natural remedies, etc to try at home without pushing me to buy buy buy...been going there for about 10-12 years now. I have 4 dogs

Brady Veterinary is who I use, they've always been good. Plus if you have an emergency at night or on weekends they'll come right in for you if you're a patient there. Which is huge here since there are no emergency vets, really.
suggestions? on a good veterinarian? in area? reasonable prices, retired, disabled folks? thank you~

I posted this yesterday, but here you go. Brady Veterinary is who I use, they've always been good. Plus if you have an emergency at night or on weekends they'll come right in for you if you're a patient there. Which is huge here since there are no emergency vets, really. Now that being said, Brady has Paw plans. I have a dog that needs a lot of vet care. Her Paw plan costs me $55.00 per month. All her visits, shots, annual care, dental care Etc is covered. I even get her monthly meds discounted. This has been a huge help and has saved me about $2500.00 this year! They're awesome!:)

can anyone recommend a group similar to goat vet corner? Only one that won't remove your question within 30 seconds of posing a contradictory position to that of the vet...
