The Center for Animal Health and Welfare has a low cost clinic- you can get her spayed, vaccinations, and microchip at the same time (as long as she's big enough to be spayed). You can call them at 610-252-7722, ext. 8 and they will return your call. Good luck to you- she's a cutie!
Jamie T. replied:
www.luvmypet.com - Will tell you the shot clinics in the area. My two are about 50$ total for their yearly shots. I've never had any issues with the vet or any of the people who run it.

No Nonsense is currently doing their pit bull program again for spay and neuter. It includes a distemper vaccine and rabies in the cost for the surgery. Microchip is extra. VIP mobile clinics are also in the lehigh valley area every weekend .... http://www.nnnlv.org/ and https://www.vippetcare.com/find-a-clinic/clinic-prices/
Terri H. replied:
Friends of Animals offers free neutering as long as you use a participating vet. I did not pay anything for my puppy to be fixed because I had the certificate. His follow up visit was free too. Warren Animal Hospital. You just need to pay for the certificate and that is it. I think I paid $60 which is much better than a couple hundred.

Dr Jamison located in Milford square (basically quakertown). For new patients she charges $50 for visit and after that it goes down to $30. She charges like $10 per vacine (or under or a little higher). She is very cheap and very good with her patients..... She has all different type of hours including Saturdays.... My whole family uses her.... 215-536-0141:)

When I got my puppy 1 1/2 years ago I went to Pet Smart in Whitehall. Banfield Animal Hospital. I joined their puppy plan, paid 130.00 (I think) up front and 27.00 per month. Covers all shots, office visits, having them fixed, basicly everything except medicine. Now pay 28.00 a month for her continued care. You can check it out on line. I like this since I have had to take her in for check up and dont have to pay each time I go. I like paying the mothly installment and not worry if she gets sick and I dont have the money!

Alpha vet is very good with prices. I actually switched to them when my dog was diagnosed with cancer. I thought I would not be able to help my dog at all. Since I was told about Alpha, I have been able to afford the care my dog needs.

Allentown animal clinic (610) 434-4470. They are on walbert ave. I love them. They will match other competitor prices. You don't have to buy large amounts of flea or worm meds you can just walk in and buy a month. Your pet gets their own web page so you can track your pets info and upcoming appointments.

Thank you, Jess! Northampton is also doable, and it looks like a great facility! Do you see a particular vet there? And thank you, Michael! But, I am remembering that Valley Central is the emergency hospital on Fullerton Ave. I want Louis to get the best care and find him a permanent doctor, but I have to be able to make sure that I can afford the care.

Hey, ABE folks, we take our dogs there too, but the recent high turnover has left me feeling a little uncertain about what's going on there. We loved Dr. Obenrader, then Sandrock. Now we feel a little in limbo and prefer a more seasoned vet. I also don't love a lot of the up selling going on.

A bit of a hike, but my poos go to AVH veterinary up in Pen Argyl. Superb surgery. Compassionate. Flexible. Came to my place in Easton when it was time to put down one of the babies. Even brought a casket.

Dr. Sam Yoder in Kutztown. Great vet and terrific guy. He and his wife live on a farm where they grow all of their own food and energy (including what they use to drive their cars). He saved the life of one of my cats after other vets had him suffering.
