UPDATE: Ok, so here is the update on Popeye. We collected $741 so far. Sounds like a lot and it is, but it isn't enough! We've got his current care paid for, but we will need more for his surgery. SO MANY SHARES but so few people actually reached into their pocket to send a dollar. THANKS A MILLION TO ALL WHO DID, especially those HUGE donations!!!! But yet, I would have expected more with all the shares this baby got. WE ARE ONLY ASKING FOR $1.00, just ONE DOLLAR from everyone. Don't just assume others will send it in because you shared a post. Everyone needs to do it, PLEASE! paypal: thedollarclub@yahoo.com The other thing we need now is a place for him to go. He needs a rescue group to step up and take him. He is in Louisa, KY and all money collected over and above his current vet bill will go with the cat for his surgery! So PLEASE, whoever rescues him, he will have money coming with him! And it needs to be NOW. The current vet is charging more and more just to keep him each night. The gal who rescued him is waiting to talk to the vet to get more info on his needs so she will come and posts here when she gets it. So if anyone needs more info, just come back here and ask on this post. We've come so far, we can't stop now!!!!!!

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is great, & have many vets on staff with specialties. Additionally, they are open 24/7 365 days for emergencies. We started using them about 3 yrs ago, & it's been the best things we've done for our pups! Check out their page on facebook.

I go to Christmas City Vet. Some of the procedures can be pricey, but I trust them there. I'll never go to Wright again. They outright kept a family dog of ours longer than needed (& wanted to do unnecessary procedures) for more money - don't trust them. But good luck in your search!

Stanglein Veterinary Clinic 2614 Cherryvale Rd, Northampton, PA 18067!!!!!! Best vet & staff around!!! (610) 262- 6986. Very easy to get to, the back way is far more scenic!!! Wish we had a vet like him in Jax.

Check Stanglein vet in Northampton. They did my dog. Good experience and I believe there policy is one price no matter the amount of work. Been going there for more than 20 years and never disappointed
