Chuckanut vet services (or something of that nature) in burlington. Open 24 hrs. Dr Anderson here in Anacortes is the cheapest and he is very good.

Dr. Anderson is very kind and sweet to all animals.
Shirley S. replied:
Dr Anderson is the very best!
Shelia T. replied:
not Anacortes, but Cedardale is great and refers you out if they don't handle it...limited. Dr Anderson is great for Anacortes and have always been great for my parents. Only reason I switched was that I moved.
Tracy R. replied:
Dr Anderson's office!! ❤❤❤
Pat K. replied:
Dr Anderson is great and also very reasonable
Deborah S. replied:
Fidalgo Animal has appointments and a group of vets and techs. Not a lot of wait time. Dr. Anderson doesn't set appointments so you may wait a while in the office. They don't have the ambience and bells and whistles, but he is highly experienced and will tell it like it is. I think it's personal preference.
Ari E. replied:
There's a Pet emergency clinic on highway 536 going to Mt Vernon. It could be pricey though. Their number is 360 848-5911. They only do evening and weekend treatment.
Cheryl H. replied:
Animal care center in Mt Vernon. Great people and very reasonable
Pamela F. replied:
Joanie Mills, if the kitten is crying and doesn't want to move I wouldn't wait overnight. Something is very wrong. I accompanied a friend to the Pet Emergency Clinic on the highway into Mt. V - was VERY impressed, and it didn't turn out to be as expensive as I imagined. Not cheap, mind you, but not exorbitant. I urge you to get her to a vet tonight! Good luck and let us know how she does! <3

Anna L. replied:
Yep. Dr. Anderson and Dr. Jones and staff are THE BEST! A few years ago, a neighbor was walking her little dogs and one was attacked by a big dog. It must have been 8 p.m. Dr. Anderson was going to leave an event in Mt. Vernon to come try to save the dog. That is dedication!

Deborah S. replied:
Fidalgo Animal docs are very nice, have appointment times and an excellent touchy-feely bedside manner. Also a nice clinic and waiting room. Anderson is not so "warm and fuzzy" and the office is probably still outdated. But he will absolutely tell you what you need to do and not sugarcoat a tough situation. I once found a homeless, skinny, dirty little cat while working at Padilla Bay Estuary and brought it in for an exam. Dr. Anderson told me to cancel our grooming appointment and not to spend any money on vet bills as he suspected it may have a fatal disease. He asked to keep it overnight and sure enough, the little thing passed away overnight. He didn't charge me a dime for the office visit or for cremation. I think, depending on what your needs are and how much bling and smiles you like during a visit, both places are good.
Thad W. replied:
Dr. Anderson
Jacquie O. replied:
Dr Anderson might not be "warm and fuzzy" but the animals are his #1 priority. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my furbabies!!!

Justin B. replied:
Dr. Anderson is wonderful. Old school positive. Best thing is you don't need to make an appointment (sometimes you wait, sometimes not). The other place, Fidalgo Animal, is fine if you can schedule appointments in advance. I know Dr. Anderson's pricing is less expensive than anyone else's in the county.
