The Appliance Doctor. The founder/owner, used to have an advice column in the paper years ago. His son took over. They just fixed our washer, dishwasher & deep freezer; all 'went' w/in a week apart. Now working... Their prices are fair/good. A contractor referred them to us. I would use them again, if needed.

We have a service contract for our furnace with Pat Walters & Sons Heating & Cooling. They are good for routing maintenance & fixing furnace problems. Don't know about mysterious emergencies. They are local & reliable.
