Call Paul and Debi, they have all of those and you have seen the work in their new house. His cabinet man is going to do my kitchen and his floor man you have met. Scott is a perfectionist. Wish he had done my den floor.
Mary S. replied:
Honey do man..225-385-4220 does all the work himself.. Stan Hebert..

AC - Baton Rouge heating and air- they are honest and have been in BR for over 30 years

Tim Cox - "Integrity Services"...does all but A/C. No subbing, does all work himself. Honest, reputable, talented and a well educated perfectionist! Not the cheapest, but the best. Have worked with him and trusted him with my client's for years. Inbox me if you haven't gotten someone already. I'll give you his info.
Baton Rouge roofer recommendations. I need to have a new roof installed on a rental property. Anyone have someone they recommend or someone they don't? It's only about...

Horizon Roofing gave me a good price on my flat roof Canton row home. The owner was good to work with, too.

Kelbie Roofing did good work for cheap. I'd recommend. Even came out to inspect when I thought there was a leak in the roof that turned out to be a leaky pipe.

Most people will recommend a contractor based on their single exposure to the company. Semi-LPT: call a big realtor, ask nicely and they will recommend one or two local outfits that they use when their clients are required to complete repairs by contract. Realtors use these guys A LOT, and have pretty well established who is reliable and fair. Edit - by the way, you definitely do not need a roofer to apply the silver overlay coat. Any general contractor will do this, its really simple.

I don't remember the company name but we used James MacDonald and he was great. Good guy, good price, good work. Found him on Angie's List.

dibello roofing in locust point was alright. He installed new flashing that's visible from the front. I pointed out that it was crooked and there was an unnecessary number of seams (think they wanted to reuse shorter pieces). When I asked him to clean it up he made a big deal of it. I don't think I'd use them again.

I had Petit Construction replace my single family home roof recently, and my folks used them for a ton of remodeling work over the years. Pretty reliable and trustworthy. Based in Howard County.

Recently had work done with Arocon Roofing. Their estimate came in at half what I'd been quoted elsewhere and there were no surprises afterwards. I recommend.

http://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.WFSContracting.7500941.html Best contractor I've ever used. He's doing my roof in the fall and I've had him do some other stuff around the house. That said, he doesn't like to do roofs in the summer due to the heat. Then again the weather has been pretty mild so maybe he'll be up for it? Only way to know is to call.

When I bought my house I had a guy named Tim from Precision Roofing take care of some leaks and repairs that were necessary in the front of my house. He did a very nice job and at a good price.

I appreciate the responses. I am contacting multiple companies for quotes.

I can’t recommend Premier South more. https://www.premiersouthla.com/ Not only were they the cheapest of the four companies I called, but they were willing to replace AND IMPROVE the flat roof I have over my carport. Other companies weren’t even willing to touch the flat roof. Premier South was even cheaper than the companies that wouldn’t do anything on the flat roof. Plus, they didn’t care that I wouldn’t show them my insurance appraisal. Their quote was lower than my insurance check, even after taking out the deductible. I actually made a couple hundred bucks.

Mid city roofers recently did some repairs for us and they were terrific!
JackNDebachs replied:
Stay away from roof claim.com. The went all through my neighborhood putting up signs in front of random houses and at every stop sign. They have LSU stickers on their trucks to seem local but they’re actually a national chain.

Premier South did a great job on my Shenandoah house before I sold it last summer. Couldn't have been happier with the speed and quality of their work.

We had our done by a local guy name Glen Nola. Very nice and was super upfront about everything and didn’t try to BS us. Helped us get everything fixed and worked with the realtor to make sure we were covered for selling our house.
