Hope Animal Clinic. Dr. Fuller. Wonderful Vet and will work with you. 3051 Morgan Road Southeast, Bessemer, AL 35022 (205) 426-2828. It is right on the line of Helena/Bessemer

Hope Animal Clinic! When my now 3 year old lab contracted parvo at 10 weeks old, they saved my dog's life and worked out a payment plan.
Janelle M. replied:
Try Montevallo Animal Clinic. I love them. Their staff is amazing!

N. Shelby Animal Clinic is great!
Billie P. replied:
With a Care Credit card ( CareCredit.com ), the vet will be paid immediately and your payments can usually be made over a 6-month period at 0%.
Billie P. replied:
I use Care Credit at North Shelby, but I think just about all of them accept it.

North Shelby Animal Clinic in Pelham is GREAT! and they take care credit!!

Hope Animal Clinic, Dr. Fuller is wonderful and truly cares for the animals. He hasn't went up on prices in 10 years! We drive from Chelsea. Our shepherd tore his acl the same day I went into labor, I was off work for 6 weeks without pay and didn't have the money, but he worked with us to make it more affordable
Amanda T. replied:
Montevallo, they're amazing and I take all my pets there. The staff is great and make a point to get to you know. Their prices are very reasonable, but last time I asked they don't do payments. They could though I'm not sure. Dr Bamberg at Montevallo was the one to euthanize my very old cat a few weeks ago when I was in Auburn and he talked to me on the phone and just made me feel better:)
Paula D. replied:
Montevallo takes Care Credit. I love them, they are great and very reasonable. Not pushy and they don't make you feel bad if you can't afford to do something for your animal at that moment.
Erin L. replied:
Hope Animal Clinic. I'm doing payments there right now for my dog after they saved his life.
Margie M. replied:
Call Galleria Animal Clinic & see if they take payments.
Billie P. replied:
North Shelby Animal Clinic is on the right headed N on Hwy 31, just past Pee Wee's Pawn Shop (on the left) in Pelham. They have taken excellent care of my dogs for over 10 years now.
Beth B. replied:
Montevallo Animal Hospital is great
Pam F. replied:
Just started with Dr. Hubbard and really loved and the way he is with my little ones. Very reasonable too. He works with Sanctuary pet rescue and that's how I became aware of his practice.

There's a pop up clinic that I went to with a stray and was much cheaper than when I take my dogs to the vet. https://cohvc.com/pet-vaccine-clinic-birmingham-hoover-gardendale

Classic beagle behavior smdh I take my dogs to Avondale Animal Clinic. Don't really know how they compared price wise to elsewhere, but they saved most of my stupid terrier's tongue after it was bitten by a big ol' pitty boy, so they have my loyalty and my faith in their competence.

There’s a mobile vet who does shots and such. Dr. Walker at Comforts of Home goes to various places around town. His schedule is on his website at https://cohvc.com/

We use Green Springs Animal Clinic and I've always found their prices reasonable. Don't think we've ever paid more than $150 out of pocket, even when they had to do minor surgery to remove a huge splinter from my dog's paw.

I'm going to need to see pictures of these puppers, please. :) A vet comes by Sheppard's Pet Supply and sets up a tent for these sorts of things a couple of times a month I think. I'm guessing that would be cheaper than other options.

Hope Animal Clinic, I love all the vets there. Their prices are reasonable. They are VERY busy so be sure to get there as early as you can.

I go to Montclair Animal Clinic. Not sure about pricing though

I go to Red Mountain Animal Clinic! It’s pretty cheap. They do student, military and 2 or more pets discount (10% off). For an appt and my second round of shots plus dewormer and all of that good stuff, I paid $75.

http://www.charlesloopsdvm.com We used Dr. Charles Loops. His physical practice is in N. Carolina. But he does phone consultations by the hour. We used him to treat an aggressive mast cell tumor in one of our dogs. He specializes in natural canine diets, and specific homeopathic care for various conditions, diseases, and cancer. He will ship any supplements and/or drugs/oils, etc. if not found in your local health food store.

We used a vet associated with Patton Chapel Animal Clinic a few years ago. Super kind people, and he went peacefully.

So sweet of you to do that; it is a hard choice to make but it can be a very kind decision for your dog to have enjoyable last days. My father in law dropped their dog off at the vet and left him alone; after hearing that I vow to never ever do that and at least be with my dog when that day comes.. So sorry to hear what you are going through.

If you like, play some music, something calm. Will help everybody involved, and something emotional like Ave Maria, which I played for my lab, will add some context that really seemed to help my family. Having a beautiful sound involved can help to fill the moment and kind of set your feelings in something, so that the pain of it isn’t so abstract and hard. For people that have a hard time processing things like this, which everybody does to some degree I guess, allowing an emotional piece of music in can help those emotions flow and move fully, so when the music and procedure conclude, the moment goes with some closure and resolution. Good to choose something transcendent but that you aren’t attached to, not your favorite song by far—be prepared to never listen to it again without all of it coming back. Something peaceful that resolves fully, not with a fade-out or jarring finish. Good luck, I’m so sorry for you and your animal friend.
