WE have many great vet offices. We like Main Street Animal Clinic but Argo Animal Clinic is good, as well as Deerfoot. As for boarding, if it's a medium sized to large dog I would go with Good Dog Boarding in Argo. Smaller breeds are Good Dog or Paws N Claws or Kelly Run Farm but it is in Odenville.

Alabama Animal Adoption Society offers spay vouchers for $70 for a female dog at participating vets. That's what I used to have my dog spayed. It includes the surgery, medicine, and overnight vet stay. Highly recommend.

I don't remember exactly how much Vestavia Animal Clinic (the one with the animal jokes on their sign) charged but they were much cheaper than other places I called by about half. Not as cheap as the humane society though.

I use dog days for day care and boarding and love them. I have also used the pawms in vestavia for boarding and I liked them as well. Dog days is just closer to me!
