Darrell G. replied:
Eskridge and White (on 31 in Homewood) is a great PT place. Also, Resolute Running has programs on injury prevention and can work with you to achieve your race goals.

Lee- I had an Achilles tear, surgery and rehab in 2012. I used Beth Pierpoint at Premiere Physical Therapy in Pelham. She is a runner, triathlete and does a great job, I would highly recommend her. Website is premierephysicaltherapy.com, hope this is helpful.
Vicky B. replied:
I also highly recommend Beth at Premier Physical Therapy. I went to the 280 location. She will video you running on a treadmill so you can see your form in slow motion and she will advise on any form corrections you need to make to prevent injury. They also work on strength training to focus on any areas that you need to improve. Best of luck!
Katherine D. replied:
I highly recommend Birmingham Physical therapy in Cahaba Heights. Ask for Rachel. She is an ultra runner with butts. Sh knows how important it is to move.
Chelsey P. replied:
The FARM: Functional Athletic Rehabilitation & Medicine is a great place to go (totally agree with Jennifer Dunn !). Their website is very helpful too- they have great videos to get you started on strength exercises.
Jennifer D. replied:
Beau and Sloan Beard at The FARM: Functional Athletic Rehabilitation & Medicine are very knowledgable about running and injury prevention and treatment! Also, I signed up for the free materials from Jason at Strength Running, and I think there is good information there, but nothing beats meeting with somebody in person.

I highly recommend Beth and Premier. I have used her a few times. However, I have also heard great things about The FARM. I have been interested in trying them out the next time I need it, or possibly before I need it. Good luck!
