I use Elizabeth Perkins but she is in Hoover. She is wonderful. She takes plenty of time with you and really listens.

Thank you, Michelle. I would like to stay a little more local, if i can. If not, i will definitely research Dr. Perkins. My sisters rheumatologist is at St. Vincents but I would love to give our local medical doctors a chance. We shall see.

I didn't know Alex City had one but Dr. Perkins when she still came here 2 days a week was our only one here in Sylacauga. To me she is well worth the drive to Brookwood though. But I definitely understand about staying local and not having to drive. There really aren't alot of rheumatologists around except in like B'ham. I wasn't pleased with the first one I used at all. Dr Perkins is very through and finally found out exactly what was wrong with me.

Hey Jaide Barnett Winn. Dr. Koslin is good if you need an oral surgeon. Dr Chip Taylor on Hollywood Blvd (also has a location in Hoover) is an orthodontist. He made a bite plate for me years ago and cured my jaw pain and head aches. Number is (205) 879-5216.

Not going to anyone at Brookwood. Jessica and Patty, my problem was with an Orthopedic surgeon and the germ I picked up along with the ER submitting false claims. Nothing at all to do with any doctor and definitely not Dr. Eudy. My mom is actually waiting to be approved to see Dr. Eudy smile emoticon

Have you considered acupuncture to deal with pain? Dr. Stephen Zhao on 31 in Hoover took away my pain in 2 visits. (it was only sciatica, but VERY painful) You can still do whatever else you are doing.
