What are you favorite exercise classes/gyms/instructors in Boston? My friend and I are hoping to get in shape and want to fun way to do so together! We were wondering if...

I love Cambridge Strength and Conditioning. Its not a gym like most gyms, its more like little strength training club; lots of really strong friendly people there. Not sure if it is your thing.

Right now, my friend and I are kinda fanatical about cycling classes ([Velo-City](http://www.velo-citystudio.com/) specifically). But we just discovered and will probably join the [ClassPass](http://classpass.com/boston) soon - you get to check out all sorts of fitness classes in the Boston area, and you can cancel once you get your fill.
MetroRock in Everett is an awesome rock climbing gym. I've been a member for 2.5 years now and go regularly (and it's my only gym membership). They have plenty of beginner's classes plus different membership types. You can also take yoga there and they have a tiny workout room (I hate running, so for cardio I either do laps or get on the treadwall).

For Zumba, you can't do better than [The Z Spot](http://www.thezspotboston.com/). The whole staff has a great vibe. Lena, the owner, is a truly great person.

A beautiful article written in The Huffington Post about Adam’s class. - Finally, one day I went in. I contemplated standing in the back, in the corner, out of sight, out of mind. But then I didn't. I walked straight to my newfound space, three rows from the front, near the speakers. Then Adam Bokunewicz walked in front of the mirrors. "If it's your first time taking Zumba," he said, "just keep moving and have fun. Don't worry about knowing what you're doing and then he turned on the music..... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tracy-strauss/zumba-how-i-got-my-groove_b_5836396.html

Central Rock (Cambridge/Watertown) It's a great place and as someone who can't stand a normal gym, it's the only type of exercise I've stuck with BKB if you are near Somerville.

6:30 p.m. Thursday Zumba at Boston Sports Club Adam Bokunewicz’s reputation attracts the Lycra-clad masses. His typical Zumba shakedown features easy-to-follow Latin dance moves with a hip-hop twist. In spite of its big-box milieu, the class felt intimate thanks to this seasoned, cult-inspiring instructor. http://www.bostonmagazine.com/health/article/2014/07/29/boylston-street-health-club-crawl/

Brooklyn Boulders. I go to Bootcamp there religiously and drop in to yoga classes occasionally. Not to mention all the climbing you can do, plus cardio equipment and essentially two weight rooms. It's not super close to a subway stop but the bus does stop nearby and there's a free parking lot around the corner.

I go to (spin classes at) Recycle Studio - you can buy single classes or packages. Great atmosphere, fantastic instructors, killer workout - my faves are Stephanie & Lindsay.

[Esh Circus Arts](http://eshcircusarts.com/) in Somerville is a ton of fun.
They have specialized classes for things like handstands partner acrobatics, lyre, silks, etc, but they also have some classes that fall into general fitness such as "Cirque Fit".
It's a super fun way to develop yourself physically as pretty much everything is centered around body weight fitness and developing functional strength. It's a lot easier to work out when you're training yourself to DO a thing instead of just mindless repetitions.
Classes range from advanced to total beginner and there are "taster" classes for everything to see if you'd dig it, and they periodically have workshops on the weekends.
I've taken several of the partner acro classes, the cirque fit class, and I'm in my second session of the handbalancing classes. Super fun, super nice people.

Looking for some help with contract law and gold gym
They let my 16 year old sign contract which they are making very hard to cancel. Have taken about $100 from him....

See http://www.malawforum.com/content/minor-ma-bound-contract "Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 231, Section 85P states that children attain the 'age of majority' and full legal capacity at the age of 18. Until that age, the general rule in Massachusetts is that minors can enter into contractual relationships and bind the other (adult) party to the terms of the contract. However, unless the contract is for a necessity, such as food or medical treatment, the minor can void the contract. In other words, the minor can break the contract and stop abiding by its terms."
