Small, non-manufactured jewelry? Maybe you can find some in some CAD software. SolidWorks is pretty good.

Check the Jeweler's Building in Downtown Crossing. Specifically, I went to DePrisco (as my grandfather did). They're great people, and they can set anything you like. If you have no idea what you're doing, they give you honest help.

Boston area (but not proper) - Daniel Spirer in Cambridge. The jewelry are all his designs and he can put whatever kinds of stones you want in 'em. I got my wedding band with sapphires, for example.
Dajbman22 replied:
When I looked there, they were a little out of my price range, but I have to say the custom work from GVS Jewlery in Belmont I was shown was amazing. It may be worth checking out, as I was in the market for a new setting for a diamond and my budget was almost unreasonably low at the time, so you may not find his prices to be too high.

Bedrosian Jewelers in Downtown Crossing has some beautiful gemstone pieces. My husband reset my mother's engagement ring for me at Bedrosian, and the quality and communication were stellar. I can't recommend them enough.

I gave my wife an heirloom ring that's been in my family for generations as an engagement ring so I didn't buy from E.B. Horn but they did a fantastic job resetting a prong and making sure all the diamonds were set securely. They gave it a great cleaning as well. I recommend them if you're in Downtown Crossing http://www.ebhorn.com

There are several around the jeweler's building in Downtown Crossing, but if you can get out of the city, I recommend Leo Carroll Jeweler's by Inman Square in Cambridge. I've been dealing with them to get wedding bands. They're very nice and reasonably priced compared to most places.

I have to say my favorite place to go for jewelery at the moment is [Small Pleasures](http://www.small-pleasures.com/) on Newbury Street. They have really really stunning stuff for all tastes with (what I think are) extremely reasonable prices. They were also willing to negotiate with me a few times. Also they gave me a better price for paying debit. The first two times I went I believe the owners assisted me and were very helpful and friendly. The third time I went the woman that helped me wasn't quite as pleasant but I still ended up with exactly what I was looking for.
And I have to say their selection of rings is drool worthy. But as a twenty something woman I am naturally drawn to shiny things faster than a magpie.

T C Jewelers in Arlington. Got my fiancee's ring there, they ordered several sets of stones for us to choose from, had a wide variety of bands, and were very willing to work with us to make sure the ring fit the idea we, (she), had.

@Jeweler's Building in Downtown Crossing got to [Gold Quest Jewelers](http://goldquestjewelers.com/). We went there on a recommendation for engagement ring and wedding bands. We dealt with Armen who was great. If you pay cash tax will be "included" in the price. At least it was for us. Also, we got a sapphire engagement ring with small diamonds on the side.

You could look at the Matthew Feldman gallery in Huron Village in Cambridge.

Not quite what you're asking for, but I'd recommend looking around on sites like CustomMade and Etsy (yes, Etsy) for custom jewelers in the area. I used to live in the Twin Cities in MN and found a jeweler to make my SO's engagement ring, turned out amazing. You can see their whole portfolio, get a feel for their style and pricing, and set up meetings with them to design the ring with them. Obviously you can get a similar experience from just walking into somebody's custom shop and whatnot, but if you want to see them all without touring the city, might be a good option before checking them out in person. Of course, if you're not looking to design the ring but are rather just looking for a ring to buy that doesn't have a diamond, might be easiest to find a shop and walk in and buy it.
Anyone know where to purchase good austism awareness jewelry? Thx.

I've lived in Southie all of my life and I've had many pairs of pants ruined by having them altered at various places in the area. Before I got married in May and I did a LOT of research and I found "All Fit" on Newbury. They are the BEST!! I had half of my wedding party get their alterations done there and they did a fantastic job! (I only needed one fitting for my wedding dress and it was perfect!) Since May I've gone back several times for normal clothes and I've been happy every time. I can't say enough good things about them. http://m.yelp.com/biz/all-fit-tailoring-and-alterations-boston
