Does anyone know a good sports medicine or ankle doctor in Boulder, Denver, or Fort Collins? Bad ankle times persist.

Jon Pratt, my mom, at least several Olympic athletes, and I see Mark Plaatjes, RPT. Mark is a great physical therapist - and a world class runner. Rates are reasonable. 2775 Pearl St #201, Boulder, CO (303) 247-0687

When I injured my ankle really badly back in 2010 (and was living in Foco), I went to proactive physical therapy and saw Brian Benjamin, DPT. I thought he was awesome. http://www.proactiveptcenter.com/

Dr. Nicholas Studholme, chiropractor, has worked with many athletes, even internationally. Has been working with one of the top British soccer players, who flew here to work with him for a week. Great guy. Good explanations of what he's doing. Helped me get over a chronic neck issue, and works with all joints. Has offices in Denver and Boulder. Takes insurance. http://drstudholme.com/index.php?p=258643

You may have torn a ligament or muscle tissue, or chipped a bone (I did the latter with a bad sprain when I was a kid, with several subsequent sprains ... gots to give it time to heal properly). Have you had an X-ray? Excuse the public "beg to differ", but I disagree with Mr. Sutherland above re: the ankle brace, unless you know for sure what you've done to the ankle, and know that will be enough.
Calling on my sisters for a recommendation. I need the name of a good sports doctor in Boulder that specializes in backs. I messed up my lower back and I need to get to...

Dr Cliff Gronseth. He was my savior dealing with my back injury. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He talked to me and made suggestions that he said, "I would give to my own sister". He is a great listener, very thorough, and very supportive. I liked his PT team a lot. If you need more info, send me a note.

United HC typically makes a contractual agreement with acupuncturists, chiros, massage therapists to offer 20% discounts to UHC subscribers. These styles of practitioners would not bill UHC for services.
Can someone recommend a good physical therapist for knee surgery rehab in Boulder? Looks like my guy no longer works at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine.
