NOT Cutarelli. My friend had it done there but they botched it. Still needs corrective lenses and his optometrist was appalled by the results as well.

I had mine done by Spivack. He's supposed to be one of the best.
Even so, if I had it to do over, I might not. My wife, however, is very happy with hers. It depends on your situation.
I was nearsighted - needed glasses to drive, etc. however, I could read and see close up very well without glasses. Now, after Lasik, my distance vision is good (I test at 20/20 but it doesn't seem as crisp as it was with glasses), but I need reading glasses whenever I read or do anything detailed up close. Even given the frustrations of fogged up glasses, or not seeing well swimming, etc. I think I might have been happier overall without Lasik.
Probably depends on your age as well. I did mine at 40 and could read ok for about 5-6 years after the procedure. If you're fixing a different vision problem - my wife had an astigmatism - you may be happier with it.

I went to Insight Lasik in Louisville, very happy with that decision. Definitely shop around and go get multiple consultations before deciding.

There's a guy I went to down here for mine. He's very thorough and his staff are tremendously good. Don't worry about it AT ALL. The procedure is the best money you can spend if you've been wearing glasses forever. His name is Dr. Levinson. Say I sent you and I think you get a discount
