Dr Wynett. At avista family medical. Next to Walgreens!!
Kiri M. replied:
Dr. Bucknam with Cornerstone Pediatrics! The whole practice is fantastic!
Porter J. replied:
Another vote for Cornerstone... We usually see Dr. Miller but all the docs are great. For us, Dr. Palazarri wasn't a good fit
Lynette S. replied:
Heather, if you are comfortable telling me, I'd love to know the issues with CV Peds. We go there but recently I am hearing more and more people are unhappy there. You can PM me. Just wondering if we should look to switch also. My experience has been so so depending on which Dr we see.
Heather K. replied:
It's more the personality of the place. Definitely NOT a neighborhood small-town practice! Only Dr. G is good. Constant changes in front desk. Each one more snotty than the one before. I Needed papers filled out for camp and now I'm told its 5 days to get them when countless other times they've just called me when they're done... Usually in 24 hours. Said they won't fill out my kids' paperwork since they haven't had specifically "wellness visits" recently. When I tried to schedule one, they are booked out for at least three weeks. No kindness or apology for being booked. Almost rude. Basically, a poor way to run a business. Ps - the other guy doc, Wright? - was a jerk to my sweet, shy kid the first time I met him. I refuse to take appointments with him. I'm done.
Mary S. replied:
I second Dr Palazzari!
Kelley A. replied:
Heather-I wholeheartedly agree about Dr Wright. I've had 2 appts w/ him and his bedside manner is horrible. I feel like he doesn't even like kids. I won't see him either. Dr G and both nurse practitioners are awesome, though, at CV Peds. I'm a nurse and really picky about healthcare providers. Dr Wynett is awesome at Avista by Walgreen's!
Shannon K. replied:
Yes! She recently finished her fellowship at Case Western! What I love is how she talks to my boys about school and sports and friends! She wants them to know she can listen to make them better! Amazing!!! https://www.bouldermedicalcenter.com/medical-providers/andrea-mertz/

Arvada Pediatrics in Broomfield.
Paula O. replied:
This will sound crazy, but I still take my kids to Dr Dacey at Pediatrics 5280 in Castle Rock (we moved from CR last year). We did Broomfield Pediatrics before that when we lived in Thornton, and while they were ok and "meh", the practice as a whole didn't give me a comforting feeling as a new mama. I think you are doing the right thing by looking for a new practice for sure!
Sharon K. replied:
For sure the best is Cornerstone Pediatrics at Avista in Louisville
Jenny D. replied:
Boulder Med Center Pediatrics... 303-938-4700 at Boulder Foothills Hospital on Arapahoe. When you are looking for a pediatrician you need to look at the whole group because rarely is your child sick when your primary is available. All the Docs are great. I work with them. I am a neonatal nurse practitioner for Children's Hospital Colorado and have taken my kids there for 15 years. Love them!!
Kelly M. replied:
Love the docs (esp dr Jordan) at cornerstone. However, SO fed up with absurdly long wait times. The little Avista satellite office by Walgreens/Erie rec. is fantastic and never a long wait. Dr Daruud is fab, not sure if he sees littles though but it sounds like someone above has a pediatrician there.
Christine C. replied:
Dr Bruce Martin at Centura health. The new building by I-25 exit
Ashley K. replied:
We really love Dr. Meredith at Coal Creek family medicine in Louisville right next to Avista.

Julie E. replied:
We love Dr Adam Palazzari at Lafayette Pediatrics. The office staff and the NP, Maura, are fantastic as well. Dr P is kind, gental, present, and available. I never feel like he's rushed or distracted. Also, he won the Best Pediatrician award from Broomfield's Talk of the Town.

We used Dr Lisa Turner when we lived there. At Longmont clinic. Not sure if she is still there.I liked her and am pretty picky about Drs. Love the Fort Collins Youth Clinic. Closest office to you is Centerra Loveland. Thats a ways to drive but a good doc is worth if you can't find anything local.
Lisa P. replied:
We love Dr. Lisa Turner@the Longmont Clinic!
Nikki C. replied:
Ok looks like Dr. Turner it is! thanks. Getting set for our future kids!!

Stefani S. replied:
I second Cindy Cirolla at Rock Creek!
Debbie S. replied:
We loved the Kaiser peds. My son went to Dr. Mehl. My daughter had Dr. Kusek but I don't think she is in peds anymore. She got us a chronic illness diagnosis in record time!
Carlie M. replied:
We also have Dr. Cirolla and we adore her.
Jessica V. replied:
Dr. Cirolla has been very understanding with our crunchy ways. She has never pushed anything on us. But, beware, there are others at Rock Creek that don't listen to parents and belittle them.
AnneMarie K. replied:
Dr. Albert Mehl - he's the most lovely, delightful, amazing, wonderful, compassionate physician ever. And he's a cowboy poet - so there's that.
Grace W. replied:
Dr. Kusek at rock creek

Kathleen C. replied:
We get ours at Passport Health. Has always been easy to get an appointment. FluMist for Rose, thimerosal-free shot for me because I'm that old. They had the quad version of both when we went in a while back.
