Derek H. replied:
We use ABC Pediatrics in Skyland. Its a bit of a drive but we like them.
Ashley M. replied:
I left Mountain Area Pediatrics for ABC Pediatrics when we lived in the area and was very happy with that practice. It might be difficult to get in, however, without some sort of connection. They were only accepting newborns at that time but I knew someone who was able to help get us in.
Laura M. replied:
We go to Blue Sky Pediatrics in Arden. Dr. Kowa is awesome.
Amanda-Joshua R. replied:
No matter where you go, I would definitely let Dr Wells & Dr Meyers know what is going on so maybe things can change for the better:)
April W. replied:
Well I don't have kids and don't have any personal experiences but I've heard some good things about Asheville Pediatrics. Hope it helps and best of luck. Love and miss you girl.
Lori H. replied:
Thank you all for listening and helping me get some good ideas of offices. I do want tot write a letter to the office about everything. I am also going to talk with Dr Swain on Friday at his 1 yr check. I had some superheroes message me privately and help me get a medicine solution sorted out. Thank you ladies for your help and support you know who you are! It always warms my heart when everyone gets together and makes things happen. Than. You all, I think I have a start to getting him feeling better, now just getting the office stuff straightened out ;) .
Chris L. replied:
We use ABC PEDS also. I have nothing but good things to say about them. To us it is worth the 25 minute drive to get there Dr. Errico is great.
Lindsey B. replied:
ABC Peds. Love Dr. Paschall!
Leah B. replied:
We love ABC Pediatrics. Occasionally we have issues when trying to get an appt but that is the normal at any office. By issues, I mean nurses who aren't aware of us and don't listen to me. lol ( the convo goes like this...."No, I don't think he had UT I/Bacterial Infection/Strep, etc BUT he is immune suppressed and we have a Rheum who wants it all ruled out before we adjust meds so I still need a "sick" appt today to rule our EVERYTHING under the sun") Overall, we have been really happy and trust me, we have been there enough to know if its a good office or not What I LOVE is that they have a Dr assigned to the hospital each day and they are there from early morning until before lunch depending on patient load. When Ezra was in the hospital we saw a pediatrician, Dr Chu (highly recommend!), from our office each day and he was only caring for 3-6 patients vs. seeing the hospitalist who had never met Ezra before, knew nothing of his history, and had the entire floor to care for. If I had a "typical" child then I wouldn't consider that a make or break situation but I do now because I fully believe that is what helped get Ezra his initial diagnosis. The Dr listened to us because he had seen us in the office off and on all summer. They have 2 new female Dr's that have joined the practice are accepting new patients for those Dr's (you could see other Dr's during sick visits). We see Dr Paschall because we started when Ezra was an infant and they took Azilee on as a patient. We have seen each Dr in the practice a few times. They have early morning walk in clinic for acute illness which I love because if I have been up all night with the kids, I can take them in at 7:45, get medication in them, and get home so we can rest. They also have weekend clinic AND after hours clinic for acute illness.
Micki S. replied:
Sounds like it should be ABC Peds! My grandchildren see Dr. Chu, but recently have seen Dr. Love, Dr. Pulver and Dr. Vo. I was pleased with all of them. It sounds like the entire group is covered.
