Dr. West at Carolina Hand and Sports Medicine in Asheville. He operated on my shoulder 3 weeks ago and did an excellent job. I see Dr. Motley for my knees. He is excellent, but no longer does shoulder surgeries.

Whatever you do, do not go to Dr. Lemel! Dr. Brooks at Blue Ridge Bone and Joint did a great job on my shoulder. Lemel looked at my ankle for me two years ago, key word there "looked" at. NEVER even touched it to examine the problem I'm having. Said the popping noise was "normal". 2 years later and it still hurts. Getting BRBJ to take care of it.

Dr. Motley Southeastern sports med. he sees patients Hendersonville on King Street and at Turtle Creek office. He operated on one of my shoulders couple of years ago. Good bedside manner and good surgeon.

Dr. Sue Hall, Appalachian Orthopaedics, Hendersonville. She is a shoulder expert and does surgery only after trying less extreme measures. Worked for me, thank goodness.

Billie Arney Dr Seng is amazing, but he has moved to GA.

You are going to get mixed reviews from everyone about every doctor. Everyone has a difference experience depending on their expectations. You just have to have a consultation with the doctor and see if you feel they would be the right for for you and your expectations. Dr. Graham and Dr. Lemel are the only ortho docs in Brevard.

Both Graham and Lamel have done surgery on me. Both are good docs, not one complaint. Did see Lamel about 6 months after my last check in and he remembered and asked how I was doing. That impressed me.

Take the extra time and go to Blue Ridge (Dr. Brooks) or Asheville Orthopedics (Dr. Dement).

Mountain podiatry treated mine. They are in hendersonville. Dr Hyman and Dr Wadington. Good luck I had it in both feet at once.

I believe Dr. Glenn Ingram at Through the Woods specialized in this. Their office is in the upstairs of Food Matters.
