When I was a student, Nu Image Barbershop in Central Square was my spot! My default guy was Bernard but I have had and seen great cuts from the others too. Location: 98 River St., CA, MA 02139 Site: http://www.nuimageonline.com Note: According to their site, they are not accepting bookings via their online system. However, you can find the shop operating hours and the number for each barber at [this link](http://nuimage.genbook.com) and setup an appointment accordingly. Good luck ✊

The correct answer is Mike Coronella at Barbershop Deluxe in Back Bay. Best haircut in Boston. I travel all the way from North Conway each month to see him, in case you need a strong endorsement.

fast Phils or alibrandi's both within 10 minute walks from Davis Square both around ~10. I would recommend razors or 968 if you want something a little more modern, generally ~25 for a cut.

Also Hair's Karen in West Medford. I have short hair (I'm a woman) and my cuts are usually $30.
PooHoard replied:
If you're willing to drive a little, Empire Beauty in Malden. I think it was $13 a few years ago. I haven't had any issues with "student" hairdressers. They seem to do a better job than cheap haircut places imo.
Anyone in the Boston area know of a female barber, currently cutting hair, who would be a good mentor for a high school student?
