Reg D. replied:
Lisa, do you know yet where in Charlotte you will be living. There are many great vets in various parts of the city. I have been using Archdale Animal Hospital for about 30 years. The current vet there (Dr. George) has always taken great care of my dogs and cats.
Martin V. replied:
Hi Lisa, this depends on the area but we have a dog business Metro Paws in the Southend area. We do boarding, day care and grooming. We have used Long Animal hospital on South Blvd. 704-523-2996. We have also used East Lincoln Animal Hospital out in Denver on Highway 73. Hope this helps

Rea Rd. Animal Hospital (In Ballantyne) is also excellent. have used them since we arrived in Charlotte, and went on recommendation from others. Great Vet. services. See www.rearoadanimalhospital.com for more info.

My family has always used Animal Medical Hospital on Monroe Rd in Charlotte for 20 years now. My dog has diabetes & cushings disease and they have always done a stellar job when we've had to board him or take him in to get his glucose levels checked... I also would like to offer my pet-sitting services if you should at all be interested. I have been pet-sitting for over 10 years and can provide references upon request. I love animals and am very responsible and have my own transportation.

Do you guys ever order frozen foods through the mail? If so, where's the cheapest place to get it, shipping included? And, would anyone be interested in a "group buy" to...
Josh R. replied:
For starters, I agree its nice to support your local fish stores if you are fortunate enough to have one that is of quality and can fill all of your needs. Most of us aren't fortunate in that aspect and only have the option of ordering online. Another thing, I understand these places have to make a profit to sustain their business but when they sell items such as food, filters, heaters, etc for 4 times what they cost online there is no way I can support them for obvious price gouging. You should check out www.Petsolutions.com I think the prices are very reasonable and shipping is only 19.99 on frozen foods regardless of how much you buy and its packed in dry ice.
Edward C. replied:
I wasn't insulted. Don't worry. I like having good stores around the area too, and I use them quite often. I was just looking at Kensfish.com and saw they sold frozen food, so I added some to my cart to see how much the shipping was and it was crazy hi gh, which I can understand why it would be, but it kind of kills the deal unless you order a ton of it. So I figured if a bunch of people got together to order it then it wouldn't be so bad.
Rolf W. replied:
Go to jehm co.com
Julie Z. replied:
Let Matt Messer make you a deal. Then you don't have to mess around.

Anyone here have any luck with shipping motorcycles? I have two that need to go from NC to CT. Any advice is appreciated.
Matt C. replied:
Roy...When I purchased my CB900 off of ebay. I created an account with UShip (shipping auction site), the company with the best deal was an independent driver named Kenny Sifford. I can give you his contact info if you want. It cost me right at $500 to ship the 900 from Denver to Charlotte. He was fast and on time, and zero damage to the bike.
Seth K. replied:
Option B. Forward Air. From airport depot to airport depot, they provide the crates, tie downs, etc. you don't even have to drain fluids. It'd be about $400/bike and goes via cargo plane so they'll be there when you get there.

Anyone know of any stores that sell vegan milk chocolate bars? I see them online, but they are so expensive, especially with shipping. I'm craving milk chocolate!
Hannah B. replied:
Earth Fare has their own line of truffles with some vegan flavors. They don't say milk chocolate on them or anything like that but they're not bitter. Lidl has some dark chocolate bars that are very sweet. And at Ingles in the gluten free section they have the n'joy brand of vegan chocolate

My voicemail apparently isn't set up but I didn't have any missed calls, and they had my email. It would have been nice if they had been marked out of stock when I tried to order them though. At the moment, unless someone can point me in the direction of a place to buy KW's locally, it looks like I've got a drive to Summit Racing in Georgia ahead of me this afternoon.
