Does anybody have a good recommendation for a doula or a midwife?

Do you have a method you're trying to use? I read http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0452276594 and it was very helpful. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions

For CMC Main, there are 5 midwives who practice with Charlotte OB/GYN that all have privileges at Main (they also have several satellite offices which makes it easier to see one closest to you). If you prefer hospital but are more interested in the natural, midwife approach, I'd check out CMC Pineville if the drive doesn't turn you off. They are, overall, somewhat more midwife friendly and don't have the same "hospital" feel that CMC Main does. There are also a wide range of doulas and doula services in the Charlotte area if you would prefer to stick with your current OB and hospital choice. I'm less familiar with doula options but I think Erin Rivenburg may have some insight here. And kudos for looking into these options!
Any doulas out there? Possibly looking for a birth doula. Message me if you know of someone in Charlotte. Giving birth in mid-July at CMC.
