Lions Den is ok, cheap, it's more for the early childhood high schoolers. My son did it and I don't think he is any worse for the ware. But bepending on what you want to spend/afford Bright Horizons in Bedford is top notch, my daughter went there and when we brought her in for her kindergarten evaluation the teacher said she was ready for the first grade because she could do everything they expect a kindergartner to do but BH IS $$$ and worth every penny

https://www.facebook.com/1078519758881749Family Child Care Association of Merrimack Valley has many excellent providers. Family Child Care has to follow the same regulations for training, health & safety, and curriculum that large centers do, but it is a smaller, family fri https://www.facebook.com/581308828657836 endly atmosphere. I will have openings at Garrison Family Care beginning this summer & fall.

Lion's Pride - it's also in the old Westlands School, but is open all day from 7 am to 5 pm. They will be doing registration soon - it's hard to get into, but it's a great program! Once you're in, you're guaranteed a spot for both years. http://www.chelmsford.k12.ma.us/Page/995

Central Co-op is wonderful! The director and teachers are all amazing and loving. My son is a Co-op graduate and my twins are there now in the full-day program and for the next school year as well. Absolutely love the staff and school. The in class participation is not mandatory. You just have to volunteer once throughout the year in another capacity - like stuffing envelopes for a mailing or setting up at an event, etc. It has a community feel which I love and you learn to know all of the families. http://www.centralcoop.org/

My son has been at The Learning Experience on 110 for almost 2 years now. They are fantastic! I've had great experiences with the teachers he's had, even becoming friends with some of them. They also handled my son's medical emergency when he was only 10 months old flawlessly. Good luck on your search.

Passing along this info just bc many don't realize it: family child care had to follow the same regulations & training as a center. You can check the listings at familychildcareassoc.com. GL in your search!
Pamela D. replied:
My boys went to https://www.facebook.com/95748502812 Keystone Montessori School for preschool, which starts at 2 years, 9 months. We LOVED it there, but it wouldn't be a one stop daycare with an infant as well. But it is definitely worth a look! I knew nothing about Montessori going in and ended up keeping my oldest in through elementary because the method just clicked for him like nothing else. The teachers are wonderful.
